So since I'm chillin' it was the perfect time to bring you back to mini town. Hope you're enjoying seeing my mini fun. You know I'll slow down on these posts eventually but for now ~ I'm obsessed!
Okie dokie. I know, I know I could buy some of my furniture and probably will in time, but for now what fun would that be? I love to MAKE things! It was time to start on the kitchen so here goes...
Lord, have mercy! I saw this most gorgeous pink fridge on Pinterest and it was my inspiration to make my own. Now remember I said 'inspiration'! Wouldn't you love to have this pretty pinkie in your kitchen? Oh, I'd repaint everything to have it. Well, if I could climb on the ladder and climb on top of cabinets...well, later on! You all know I broke my knee and I'm being very careful. I'm good though now and walking pretty good. I'm getting sidetracked!
Ta dah! Don't you laugh. Well, you can giggle just a little bit. :) Let me tell you about it. We have a craft store here called A. C. Moore. I had never heard of one in Texas, but it's like a smaller version of Micheal's. I was in there prowling around and went to their wood section and found these little wooden treasure chests and my tiny talented brain began to think...hmm.
See, it's just a little rectangle box with a tiny little magnet so you can keep the lid shut. A. C. Moore has a miniature furniture section and I keep looking and drooling but I'm
So bring it home, paint it up and add a little handle and it opens! I haven't put any shelves inside yet and it's not shiny yet! Maybe one day I'll do that. But for now little pinkie cuteness is sitting in my tiny kitchen! I love her.
Here she sits in the kitchen. And no, you're not seeing pencil marks on the door of the fridge. :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Quinn the Eskimo
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn
Everybody's building ships and boats
Some are building monuments
Others jotting down notes
Everybody's in despair
Every girl and boy
But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here
Everybody's gonna jump for joy
Some are building monuments
Others jotting down notes
Everybody's in despair
Every girl and boy
But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here
Everybody's gonna jump for joy
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn
I like to go just like the west, I like my sugar sweet
But jumping queues and making haste
Just ain't my cup of meat
Everyone's beneath the trees feeding pigeons on a limb
But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here
All the pigeons gonna run to him
Come all without, come all withinBut jumping queues and making haste
Just ain't my cup of meat
Everyone's beneath the trees feeding pigeons on a limb
But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here
All the pigeons gonna run to him
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn
~ sung by Manfred Mann
Shelia, you are so clever my friend. I would love a real life pink fridge but a mini one is perfect in your cute dollhouse. I love that you are enjoying this so much. I know keeping my Grands for a night wears me out, a week, I'd be in traction!
