Hello, Dear Ones. Come on back into my kitchen and see a little Jadeite and Milk Glass. You all know how I love these pieces of vintage dishes.
Oh, and bunnies sitting on my Jadeite cake stand. I'm still moving a bit slow and I'm going to enjoy looking at my little bunnies just a little bit longer. I purchased these little sweetnesses at the dollar store a few few ago. Smile sweeties!I was just delighted a while back when I found this beautiful pineapple pattern covered butter dish. It's Milk Glass, y'all! Love my Milk Glass
The top is beautiful but even the sides and the bottom are beautiful too! Don't you think so?
Then, Dear Ones, I found this pretty panedled grape patterned set of salt and peppers! Lord, have mercy, for $5! I was in Milk Glass heaven! These babies are heavy too!
Just another little vignette in my little kitchen to make me smile and hopefully you're smiling too!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Whenever I See Your Smiling Face
Whenever I see your smiling face
I have to smile myself
Because I love you, yes, I do
And when you give me that pretty little pout
It turns me inside out
There's something about you, baby
I don't know
I have to smile myself
Because I love you, yes, I do
And when you give me that pretty little pout
It turns me inside out
There's something about you, baby
I don't know
Isn't it amazing a man like me
Can feel this way
Tell me how much longer
It could grow stronger every day
Oh, how much longer?
Can feel this way
Tell me how much longer
It could grow stronger every day
Oh, how much longer?
I thought I was in love a couple of times
Before with the girl next door
But that was long before I met you
Now I'm sure that I won't forget you
And I thank my lucky stars
That you are who you are
And not just another lovely lady
Set out to break my heart
Before with the girl next door
But that was long before I met you
Now I'm sure that I won't forget you
And I thank my lucky stars
That you are who you are
And not just another lovely lady
Set out to break my heart
Isn't it amazing a man like me
Can feel this way
Tell me how much longer
It could grow stronger every day
How much longer?
Can feel this way
Tell me how much longer
It could grow stronger every day
How much longer?
~ sung by James Taylor
I love the butter dish, I guess I'm still old fashioned and use one. I get my butter from a local farmer and it comes in a big one pound hunk and your round dish would be perfect for it. Right now I use a vintage pyrex dish that's round. Beautiful pastel colors in your vignette too:) Have a wonderful Sunday!
ReplyDeleteSweet!
ReplyDeleteYou are hitting the milk glass mother load here lately! I love the salt and pepper shakers. The bunnies are adorable too. ;)
ReplyDeleteYour bunnies look happy! how can they not standing on jadeite surrounded by milk glass? Glad I kept the few pieces of milk glass my Grandma had.
ReplyDeleteYet another fabulous idea I may one day "rip off" from you -- bunnies under glass! Adorable. I have so many and am always looking for fun display ideas. This is a terrific one!
ReplyDeleteI saw some gorgeous Jadeite in Bed Bath and Beyond in Miami and I was drooling, but hubby said he wasn't gonna bring it, shoot! Some other time when I get there alone, lol.. The bunnies are the cutest ones too.
ReplyDeleteI love, love both your collection dear friend. The Jadeite and the milk glass. What a bargain the two Salt&Peppers!
Enjoy your day.

ReplyDeleteHello Shelia, Lucky you to find those lovely milk pieces and the S & P's were clearly a bargain. Beverly collects milk glass too but she has filled her cabinet and is not looking seriously now. The bunnies on the cake plate are so sweet. You have a great sense of how to put your treasures together.
ReplyDeleteLoved the story of Campie wanting to know where the piano was in your previous post. Maybe he will play the piano following in his grandma's footsteps and be musical. I commented on that post as well.
Happy day to you Shelia.
Love, Jeanne
