Doesn't she look so cute in her little jumpsuit or it could be a snow suit! It's made of a soft flannel. Actually I've cheated again and bought some little receiving blankets to use. There were three for about $8! That's a good deal don't you think?
Now on with the suit. It has a darling little hood to keep her little head and ears warm when the wind is blowing.
There is a little belt to tie at the waist and there is elastic at the wrists and ankles as well as around the hood.
Uh oh! There she goes! I can't turn my head without her trying to go outside. She forgets she really can't walk yet! :) Babies!

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
These Boots Were Made For Walking
You keep saying, you got something for me
Something you call love but confess
You've been messin' where you shouldn't have been messin'
And now someone else is getting all your best
You've been messin' where you shouldn't have been messin'
And now someone else is getting all your best
These boots are made for walking
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots
Are gonna walk all over you
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots
Are gonna walk all over you
Yeah, you keep lyin' when you oughta be truthin'
And you keep losing when you oughta not bet
You keep samin' when you oughta be a changin'
Now, what's right is right but you ain't been right yet
And you keep losing when you oughta not bet
You keep samin' when you oughta be a changin'
Now, what's right is right but you ain't been right yet
These boots are made for walking
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots
Are gonna walk all over you
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots
Are gonna walk all over you
You keep playin' where you shouldn't be playin'
And you keep thinkin' that you'll never get burnt
Ah, I've just found me a brand new box of matches, yeah
And what he knows you ain't had time to learn
And you keep thinkin' that you'll never get burnt
Ah, I've just found me a brand new box of matches, yeah
And what he knows you ain't had time to learn
These boots are made for walking
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots
Are gonna walk all over you
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots
Are gonna walk all over you
Are you ready, boots?
Start walking
Start walking

Now that's a cozy cutie! Reminds me of the scene in A Christmas Story where Ralphie's brother couldn't put his arms down in his snow suit!

ReplyDeleteHi Sheila, so very cute my friend. Such a wonderful idea for the blankets and the little shoesocks are adorable. Hope you are having a good week and PT is going well. How is Carter doing? Prayers for you both. Blessings. xo
ReplyDeleteHello Sheila. That is so adorable. I love all the cute things you make the pretend babies. I sew for my little granddaughers dollies, and I have a few little dolls of my own that I sew for. That way when my little girls come to visit me the dolls are all ready for them. I am so glad you are doing better. It won't be long until you are running races. (LOL!) Have a wonderful week. Hugs, Karie
