Hello, Dear Ones! Well, since my last post was in the breakfast room, I thought I would continue and show you my Eastering on the bay window sill. Forgive my snaps...it's looks bright out but actually it was raining and kinda gray!
I do love this deep window sill and have great fun decorating with the seasons.Center stage sits one of my favorite pitchers and I've filled it will spring blooms (faux, of course).
On this side just lots of rabbits! There was a time when I collected rabbits and I really don't know where they all went to. Hmm...
This little bitty tureen is so sweet. Just look at the little bunny heads popping out of the cabbage. I can never look at this without smiling. Lighten up, bunnies! You're not in trouble. They do look a little scared, don't they?
Don't you just love this little pair? I've had these a very long time, well, since the 80s anyway. They make me smile too! I love to smile, don't you? :)
I've had the egg wreath forever too and since we've lived here it always finds its way to hang on this window. Well, my window sill is filled with bunnies and cuteness and I'm done! :)
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
SOME
BUNNIES
Tune: “My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean”
Some bunnies have bright shiny noses.
I’m telling you this as a friend.
The reason their noses are shiny –
Their powder puff’s on the wrong end.
Wrong end, wrong end,
Their powder puff’s on the wrong end, my friend.
Wrong end, wrong end,
Their powder puff’s on the wrong end.

Oh! I used to sing this with my children at school as well as my own two boys. I'm so happy you reminded me. I'll sing it to my college kid when he comes homes for spring break next week. He'll be thrilled.

ReplyDeleteShelia,
ReplyDeleteThe bunnies and all your Easter decor is lovely, dear friend!
I, especially, l o v e the tulips in the pitcher!
I have a cabbage tureen similar to yours, no bunnies.
My was a Wedding Gift from one of my Bridal Showers in 1969.
A Classmate of mine had made it in her ceramics class.
That one was broken into "dust" during one of our Military moves.
The year after "Mr. Ed" retired, we found the one we have today
in an Antique Shop outside Kansas City!
I adore your window sill for your Seasonal decor!
Happy Easter, dear friend!
Fondly,
Pat

ReplyDeleteHere in Canada we just got 2 inches of fresh snow....can't say I'm thrilled about that, so I'll concentrate on enjoying my inside spring décor instead.
Have a nice weekend
Jeannette
You have so many pretties, Shelia. Easter is my favorite holiday, and Spring is my favorite season. Thank you for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteI hope you will share this with us at Pink Saturday. We miss you.♥
Oh I love it all. So pretty and I agree, that little windwow area is perfect to decorate.
ReplyDeleteI just love your bay window - it must be such fun to decorate it for each season. You have such a knack for making things pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love singing along with you. Your breakfast room looks like Springtime. I've not decorated and may not since we will be moving in June. I'm keeping things as is, but I do have a song in my heart!
ReplyDeleteOh, how enchanting and pretty! Your bay window is a place of joy and magic. I love your bunnies, and the flowers are the definition of springtime and Easter. Most of all, I'm so glad you are feeling better!
