Hello, Dear Ones. Hope you'll come along with me today as I show you my little breakfast room hutch and Christmased up!
Now this is really not a breakfast room but a little area in my kitchen but I choose to call it my breakfast room! Just wanted you to know! :)Gotta start at the top. There's Santie up their with his
If you like to get gawdy with your decorating, you can go all out at Christmas time. I put up some icicle lights and a berry garland. I know it's gawdy, but oh how my little grandchildren love to see the icicles twinkling! I love it!
Here's what you'll see in the hutch. I love the traditional colors of Christmas. I love these cute little dishes from Better Homes and Gardens from Walmart. They seem to come out with a new piece each year. I've also poked in some of my red glass pieces and the cutest little trio of red birds who are holding faux sugared apples.
Hope you've enjoyed seeing a little Christmas in my breakfast room. We still have no snow yet and the temps have been in the high 40s and 50s. The weather folks around here are so amazed. We love it and I'm sure the snow will come.
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Winter Wonderland
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight.
Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird,
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song,
As we go along,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman,
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married?
We'll say: No man,
But you can do the job
When you're in town.
Later on, we'll conspire,
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid,
The plans that we've made,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman,
And pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with mister snowman,
Until the other kids knock him down.
When it snows, ain't it thrilling,
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight.
Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird,
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song,
