Falling in the Living Room

Hello, Dear Ones. Well, I've finally Fallen in the living room. There has been quite a bit of Falling going on at my house!
First of all, back a while ago I asked for your advice as to what to do to finish the look over my sofa. I had the large art piece (it's florals with writing n German) and when I saw it, I just fell in love with it many years ago. Most of you said it would look better with more pictures on each side of it. Well, I've looked and looked and found these and I really like them - the prints and the shapes of the frames. What do you think?
Here's a little closer look, sorry about the glare. The large picture's frame is really not as dark as it looks here, it's more golden.
Here's the overall look again. I'm patting myself on the back too because of the blue pillows I poked on the sofa. I'm always a bit scared as to what colors or patterns to use on it. Well, I had these and thought, they're the same shade of blue as my draperies! Ding! Okie dokie!
One more little update. I had shown you The Finn above and my plates and again asked for advice. You said, another plate on top to make it less boxy! Well, while I was out poodling, I found another plate and I hung it up as quickly as I could. Do you see that there is no blue rim around the edge of the top plate like the others? Even more interesting. I really do just love y'all! ;)
Here's a silly little vignette on my table in front of the window. These little birds love to come out in the Fall.
The two vignettes above are the side tables on each side of my sofa. I look at these pictures and it looks like my vignettes are sitting on glass trays. They're not, the tops of these tables are beveled glass!
Well, that's a peep at the front part of my living room. With the color of my sofa and chairs, this room screams FALL! To me it feels much more cozy now with the addition of the plate and pictures. What do you think?
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Homeward Bound

I'm sittin' in the railway station
Got a ticket for my destination
On a tour of one-night stands my suitcase and guitar in hand
And every stop is neatly planned for a poet and one-man band
Homeward bound
I wish I was
Homeward bound
Home, where my thought's escaping
Home, where my music's playing
Home, where my love lies waiting silently for me
Ev'ry day's an endless stream
Of cigarettes and magazines
And each town looks the same to me, the movies and the factories
And ev'ry stranger's face I see reminds me that I long to be
Homeward bound
I wish I was
Homeward bound
Home, where my thought's escaping
Home, where my music's playing
Home, where my love lies waiting silently for me
Tonight I'll sing my songs again
I'll play the game and pretend
But all my words come back to me in shades of mediocrity
Like emptiness in harmony, I need someone to comfort me
Homeward bound
I wish I was
Homeward bound
Home, where my thought's escaping
Home, where my music's playing
Home, where my love lies waiting silently for me
Silently for me
~ sung by Simon and Garfunkel
