This post started with these two little blue and white yard bird plates I found recently and hung over the pantry door.
Plates over the breakfast room window - yard birds.
Another yard bird plate. Actually two of these. One on either side of the breakfast hutch.
Then a sweet little citrus plate bought years ago in Orvieto, Italy. Memories. Nothing profound, just plates.
Be a bunch of sweeties,

Take On Me
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave your with a little Note Song~
Take On Me
Talking away
I don't know what I'm to say
I'll say it anyway
Today's another day to find you
Shying away
I'll be coming for your love, OK?
Take on me (take on me),
Take me on (take on me)
I'll be gone
In a day or two
So needless to say
I'm odds and ends
But I'm me stumbling away
Slowly learning that life is OK.
Say after me,
"It's no better to be safe than sorry."
Take on me (take on me),
Take me on (take on me)
I'll be gone
In a day or two
Oh, things that you say, yeah—
Is it life or just to play my worries away?
You're all the things I've got to remember
You're shying away
I'll be coming for you anyway
Take on me (take on me),
Take me on (take on me)
I'll be gone
In a day
Take on me (take on me),
Take me on (take on me)
I'll be gone
In a day
I don't know what I'm to say
I'll say it anyway
Today's another day to find you

ReplyDeleteHello Shelia, I love your yard bird plates. My daughter has not long moved and has a big old kitchen, I might see if I can find some for her to hang, I'll have to check though, I'm not sure whether her colour scheme is red or blue or a bit of both. We don't go out to her kitchen to often in the winter, it's far too cold.
ReplyDeletePlates on the wall are always a good thing -- usable art work!!! Sally
