Been with our precious grandchildren. We went out for pancakes. Yummy!
Played a lot.
Went swimming.
Don't know what's wrong with my family - everybody is a runner but me! :) Daughter and Daddy showing off before their run.
Then a little photo bomber. He was going to stay home with his grandmother, me, and do a little gardening.
Then Sunday, little Campie was dedicated to the Lord. We were here for Carter's dedication when she was two years old and we never had a clue that we would end up living here! What a beautiful day! The dedication service is a public declaration the parents make before God, the church and our family that little Campie is a gift from God and with His help and wisdom that they can set a spiritual example as they raise him.
Again, can I tell you how blessed I feel? Just celebrating life!
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Blessed Be Your Name
Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name
Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name
Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name
Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name
~ sung by Matt Redman

ReplyDeleteGood morning dear Shelia, I am so happy to have time to visit you this morning. Carter and Campie are so darling. Your move to NY was the best thing for you to do. We lived close to 6 of our grands when they were small and babies and it is a blessing for sure. They grow up so fast. Now they are all in college except the youngest and he is a senior this year.

ReplyDeleteI won't be tackling the garden until mid-week - have to groom the Pups today and do laundry {an all-day thing you know}...and Wednesday, the 3 Pups see the Vet for their annual checkup. After that, I have alot on my schedule to do!!
