Still Working In The Living Room

Hello Dear Ones. Well, I'm still in the living room doing stuff! Today I wanted to concentrate on The Finn.
I decided to flank The Finn with my two wing back chairs and work on the wall around it.
The rug helps ground this area and also makes a soft place for my tootsies to land. I don't know if I've told you or you may not care but the wall color in here is Biscuit by Sherwin Williams. It's a nice and soft color and every other color looks good with it. We used this color in the dining room, entry, master bedroom, bathrooms and upstairs hall.
As I've told you before, I'm bringing more blues into the house. I used to use a lot of blue in my decorating years ago and this house just seems to scream BLUE! So I aim to please! I hung some  plates on the wall over The Finn. I bought those blue and white dishes about 3 years ago at Marshalls thinking I would use them on a bedroom wall. Never did and now I know why I bought them. I was to use them in this house!
I got busy and made a flower arrangement as you can see. It's probably too large for The Finn but it's going to stay for a while. See the blue and white container the flowers are in? I bought this over 20 years ago at Garden Ridge and had an ivy in it. When we moved up here the ivy bit the dust but I kept my planter. You know how everything has a story! :)

I love the springy happy colors of the flowers and reminds me Spring is here although it doesn't quite feel like it yet! :)

I poked down this teeny little pair of Staffys. How I love my tiny little dogs.
There's a tiny little shelf below the mirror on The Finn and I placed this little blue and white couple and of course they both have a Rooster! :)
Now here is where I need your help. Should I look for some more dishes to hang above the platter? Is this arrangement just too boxy? Or maybe I should hang just one more on each side? You know how I value your opinion.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Blue Bayou

I feel so bad I got a worried mind
I'm so lonesome all the time
Since I left my baby behind
On Blue Bayou

Saving nickles, saving dimes
Working 'til the sun don't shine
Looking forward to happier times
On Blue Bayou

I'm going back someday
Come what may
To Blue Bayou
Where the folks are fine
And the world is mine
On Blue Bayou
Where those fishing boats
With their sails afloat
If I could only see
That familiar sunrise
Through sleepy eyes
How happy I'd be

Gonna see my baby again
Gonna be with some of my friends
Maybe I'll feel better again
On Blue Bayou

Saving nickles, saving dimes
Working 'til the sun don't shine
Looking forward to happier times
On Blue Bayou

I'm going back someday
Come what may
To Blue Bayou
Where the folks are fine
And the world is mine
On Blue Bayou
Where those fishing boats
With their sails afloat
If I could only see
That familiar sunrise
Through sleepy eyes
How happy I'd be

Oh, that boy of mine
By my side
The silver moon
And the evening tide
Oh, some sweet day
Gonna take away
This hurting inside
Well I'll never be blue
My dreams come true
On Blue Bayou
