Hello, Dear Ones,
I thought I'd take a little break from just posting about The Little House and show you what I found.
I thought I'd take a little break from just posting about The Little House and show you what I found.
I popped into a thrift shop and this little bowl was just calling to me...come here, come here!!
Of course I obliged! :) I grabbed her up so fast my head didn't even have time to spin. This is a vintage Hazel Atlas milk glass bowl with little red Roosters marching around her sides.
I found out she was probably the smallest, cereal bowl size, from a set of four! Wish there had been all four! Anyway, they came out in the 1950s and since I was born in 1951 ~ I had to have her!
While I don't have much space for bringing in any more pretties, I can always find room for one little bowl and my little red cow creamer is enjoying the little bowl very much. Now is she going to pour milk into my little bowl or has she got something else in mind!? :) You know me.
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Hello, I Love You
Hello, I love you
Won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game
Hello, I love you
Won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game
She's walking down the street
Blind to every eye she meets
Do you think you'll be the guy
To make the queen of the angels sigh?
Hello, I love you
Won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game
Hello, I love you
Won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game
She holds her head so high
Like a statue in the sky
Her arms are wicked and her legs are long
When she moves my brain screams out this song
Sidewalk crouches at her feet
Like a dog that begs for something sweet
Do you hope to make her see you fool?
Do you hope to pluck this dusky jewel?
Hello, hello, hello, hello
Hello, hello, hello, I want you
Hello, I need my baby
Hello, hello, hello
