Hello, Dear Ones!
Well, I thought I'd keep you in the kitchen for one more post.
Let me show you my favorite little kitchen corner.
You know how I love to decorate my little kitchen corners but
I love to decorate my one little glass front cabinet door too.
This cabinet is pie shaped inside and pretty deep so I can poke lots of things in here
but I wanted something pretty to show off in front of the glass.
So I poked in bowls.
Sweet little pretty in pink Gooseberry Pyrex bowls.
There is one more little bowl stacked in the big one.
She's just helping support her family for the moment. ;)
Then on the middle shelf I poked in some pretty little turquoise Butterprint Pyrex bowls and one solid turquoise bowl.
Smile sweeties! :)
It's fun to 'play' in the kitchen, don't you agree?
I'll enjoy my little corner for a while and then I'll change it and enjoy it again.
On and on we go!
Here I go being shameless again! :)
Have I shown you Buttercup, my little cow creamer?
I know I have but just look at her one more time and I promise you won't see her again for maybe...
a week or so! ;)
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Stuck in the Middle With You
Well I don't know why I came here tonight,
I got the feelin' that somethin' ain't right,
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair,
And I'm wonderin' how I'll get down the stairs
Clowns to the left of me,
Joker's to the right,
Here I am Stuck in the middle with you
Yes I'm, Stuck in the middle with you
And I'm wonderin' what it is I should do,
It's so hard to keep this smile from my face,
Losin' control, yeah I'm all over the place.
Clowns to the left of me,
Joker's to the right,
Here I am Stuck in the middle with you
Well You started off with nothin'
And your proud that you're a self-made man
And your family all come callin'
Slap you on the back and say
keee.ee.ee.eys, plea.ea.ea.ease,
Tryin' to make some sense of it all,
But I can see it makes no sense at all,
Is it cool to go to sleep on the floor,
You don't think that I can take anymore.
Clowns to the left of me,
Joker's to the right,
Here I am Stuck in the middle with you
Well You started off with nothin'
And your proud that you're a self-made man
And your family all come callin'
Slap you on the back and say
Plea.ea.ea.ease, plea.ea.ea.ease

I love all of your colorful bowls. How neat that you have lights in your glass front cabinet. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your collection of Pyrex Bowls - they're so pretty...and I really LOVE the flowery bowls you got at Marshall's. Everything is pretty in your Kitchen Corner. ♥
ReplyDeleteNow Shelia, you know I adore every nook and cranny of this house, but you also know my favourite thing in the whole house is the staircase/balustrade. I think you should poke it in somewhere in a post. Just sayin' ;)
ReplyDeleteYou always come up with the best songs. Maybe you should be a DJ! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love all your pyrex. I wish I had more room so I could have more myself.
Shelia, I thought of you when I saw a bunch of vintage pyrex at the flea market last weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour colorful pyrex looks beautiful in your glass front cabinet, Shelia! I was hoping I would see sweet little Buttercup. Kinda like where's Waldo? Now where's Buttercup? So cute! ♥
ReplyDeleteThank you, Martha for popping in to see my bowls and you can tell I'm getting a big kick out of Buttercup.
DeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I love little corner cabinets like that! AND yours is lit! Gorgeous sets of bowls. You know how much I love vintage!
ReplyDeleteYou always do things so sweetly.
ReplyDeleteI love your "see through" cupboard - that sure makes showin' off fun!
Hugs and smiles.
Fun to have glass front cabinets. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove seeing all your pieces, Shelia.
You are such a delight!!! Hugs.....
ReplyDeleteCute bowls and casseroles! I have one area with glass doors and I really like them. I like the lighting in yours.
ReplyDeleteHi, Your bowls look great on display. Such beautiful colors. Is that Buttercup??? lol
ReplyDeleteLove glass front cabinets. Your pyrex is just fab.
ReplyDeleteI would have to play and change up a little glass corner like yours often! I love the display of your collections of pyrex and especially the pretty bowls on the top shelf. I saw those as well when they came out and just adored them! Hello Buttercup!
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila, I just love your kitchen corner and your beautiful bowls behind the glass. What a pretty statement and pop of color. There is just something about decorating corners that is so much fun. Love your kitchen and your cow creamer is darling.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Very pretty Sheila, especially your pyrex!! xx
ReplyDeleteLove your collection of pyrex. I am seeing alot of pyrex at Goodwill these days. Lord know I don't need anymore collections of dishes, but your displays make me want to start. They looks so pretty in the lit cabinet. Of course you have to show Buttercup! I went antiquing yesterday to try and find my little brown cow a friend and came up with nothing....so the search will go on. Have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteYour corner is perfect and the glass is so clean I didn't even think there was any in the door. LOL I have been debating on getting rid of my vintage pyrex but after seeing yours I may rethink it.
ReplyDeletePretty gooseberries! I only have one piece of it but I think it's my favorite pattern.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think you're the one who taught me how to decorate corners and I learned from the best!
Have a great day sweet friend!
♥
This is such a pretty corner cabinet and I love how you decorate it. Always fun to change it out! Tell Buttercup I have a kitty creamer I love almost as much as you love her!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat glass cabinet is such a great place to display some pretty items in your kitchen. The colorful pyrex looks pretty in there. I went to a flea market/antique show last weekend and there was a booth full of old pyrex. I thought of you instantly!
ReplyDeleteMakes me wish I had a corner cabinet like that one. Love the pink pyrex bowls.
ReplyDeleteThat little space would make me smile for sure!

I love Pyrex, but has a friend who goes NUTS over it! She is going to love seeing your display. Such a nice way to have it on view all the time!
ReplyDeleteSheila, your Turquoise Butterprint brings back such memories...my sweet mom had several different sizes...white on turquoise, turquoise on white, many different sizes an shapes. What a great cabinet to display yours in!
ReplyDeleteI love your Pyrex collection, Sheila! So pretty! I also like your jadeite collection, too. Your lighted corner cabinet is perfect for display. :D
ReplyDeleteLove all your pretty bowls and dishes in your pie shape cabinet. Everything looks so nice and organized.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Shelia

Great display area. Love Pyrex ( but how did they come to be vintage? Mine were just what everyone had when I got married!). Maybe I am getting old. Remember the glass storage dishes that came with refrigerators? Now, you are lucky to get an egg tray! Buttercup loves to keep MOOOO ving around! Love her!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a glass front cupboard. Just one! But I love the old pyrex. I remember using them, and not that long ago!
ReplyDeleteShelia, I missed your lovely blog! I haven't been around but I'm getting my stride again in tablescaping so I look forward to seeing more of your lovely posts!
ReplyDeleteShelia,
ReplyDeleteI adore how you've placed your sweet Pyrex collection in the front of your glass cabinets for a "show~stopping" view! I don't think I'd want to go to any other part of the home...just sit and sip coffee and soak in that gorgeous sight!!!
Thank you for sharing your lovely kitchen with us, dear friend!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Hi…I also have a special corner that I love to decorate in my kitchen! I love the glass door and have contemplated having one put up in my kitchen. Your Marshall's bowls are my favorite (look like Kath Kitson)….I always enjoy seeing your pretty kitchen!
ReplyDeleteGreat little spot to always enjoy your collectables! Thanks for letting us enjoy it too! MOO!
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous collection Sheila, I'm so jealous! Wonderfully displayed too!
ReplyDeleteYour corner cabinet looks wonderful! I do love your colorful bowls, they stand out with your pretty white cabinets! Ahhh, love that little Buttercup! Buttercup will have to meet up with my chicken that thinks she's a rooster! :)
ReplyDeleteI love peeking behind your glass, and you know I love the pink Pyrex. I hope you will link it with us for Pink Saturday.♥
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous collection Sheila. Would make me smile every time I walked by!
