New Yard Birds!

Hello, Dear Ones!
I'm so excited today to bring you into the den to see my new Yard Birds!

You know Yard Birds aren't just for the kitchen, don't you?

I found this precious pair and just had to bring them into the den so I could see them all the time.

Aren't they the most darling little pair?
 Dashing Mr. Rooster...
 and most gorgeous Mrs. Hen!
When I saw them, I just flipped!
Madly in love, I was and had to have this little pair.
So I immediately started grabbing things to make a vignette.

I poked down this sweet platter that I fiddled with a few years back.
This is a Fashion Plate with fabric mod podged on the back.
If you'd like to see how I did it you can click HERE.
These greens are found sitting here on this table a lot so today is no exception.

I'm as happy as a dead pig in the sunshine with my new Yard Birds.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

 Barn Dance

One night as I was sleeping
Something awakened me
There was a light on in my barn so I went down to see
I peeked through the big ole crack in the door
And what do you think I saw
The animals were havin' a barn dance right in the horse's stall
And there was the chicken doin' the chicken reel
 And the muskrat rambled on
The old cow did the cow-cow boogie and the rooster crowed a song
A mouse came out of his hidin' place
And he danced on one leg
The old hen got so tickled that she almost laid an egg
They were all dressed up for the barn dance
It made me want to laugh
The rabbit wore a big bow tie and the pig was a looking in the looking glass
And the goose danced with the gander till an old dog buddied in
The horse was horsin' around a lot till the mare got mad at him
And there was the chicken doin' the chicken reel
And the muskrat rambled on
The old cow did the cow-cow boogie and the rooster crowed a song
A mouse came out of his hidin' place
And he danced on one leg
The old hen got so tickled that she almost laid an egg
And there was the chicken doin' the chicken reel
And the muskrat rambled on
he old cow did the cow-cow boogie and the rooster crowed a song
A mouse came out of his hidin' place
And he danced on one leg
he old hen got so tickled That she almost laid an egg
