Hello, Dear Ones!
Well, I'm still playing in the breakfast room and thought I'd show you my little baker's rack
filled with everything just for us girls.
First I'll show you my little shelf above it and where I decided to put my Royal Sealy Heritage Blue canisters. You can read about when I got them HERE
They're pretty girly, aren't they?
I know you so want to see what is on each shelf so I'm gonna show you! :)
There's my new coke bottle green chick front and center
sitting in front of an olden Pfaltzgraff platter.
A sweet blogger told me that was the color and she is so right!
It's exactly the color of an olden coke bottle.
Cute little companions to a pancake breakfast!
That's a very girly breakfast too.
This is one of my favorite thrifted pieces.
Isn't she and her babies darling?
Girly, girly!
I decided I'd bring out all the girls for a little stay in the breakfast room.
I think I need some more.
Girls...
girls...girls.
I thew in a little girl pie bird for good measure.
Never know when you might need a girly black pie bird! :)
Here's my Le Creuset shelf with a few Roosters poked down.
They're interested in the girls!
This shelf stays the same...
I keep my olden girly rolling pins in the left basket and my girly salt and peppers in the one on the right.
Thanks for popping in to see me today.

This One Is For The Girls
This one's for all you girls about thirteen
High school canbe so rough, can be so mean
Hold onto, on to your innocence
Stand your ground when everyone's giving in
This one's for the girls
This is for all you girls about twenty-five
In a little apartment, just trying to get by
Living on, on dreams and spaghetti-o's
Wondering where you life is gonna go
This one's for the girls
Who've ever had a broken heart
Who've wished upon a shooting star
You're beautiful the way you are
This one's for the girls
Who love without holding back
Who dream with everything they have
All around the world
This one's for the girls
This is for all you girls about forty-two
Tossing pennies into the Fountain of Youth
Every laugh, laugh line on your face
Made you who you are today
This one's for the girls
Who've ever had a broken heart
Who've wished upon a shooting star
You're beautiful the way you are
This one's for the girls
Who love without holding back
Who dream with everything they have
All around the world
This one's for the girls
Yeah, we're all the same inside

Very cute. I had a white chicken in the basket that was my grandmothers. I was so upset when it got broke. My husband offered to buy me another one. But it wouldn't be the same. so I am chicken in the basket free.

Shelia, I adore your canister set, and I just went back to read that you only paid $20 for it! What a steal! All of your nesting hens look so cute on the baker's rack. The whole rack looks great. I like the way you elevate some hens on cake stands, and the platter makes a good background for your coke bottle green hen. I like all if it. laurie
