I'm sure lots of you have seen this little darling wreath.
I first saw it on FaceBook as a giveaway and commented that I wanted it.
Well, needless to say, I didn't win it so the next best thing?
Copy Cat it!

Well, needless to say, I didn't win it so the next best thing?
Copy Cat it!
So I took myself to Hobby Lobby and gathered my supplies at 50% off!
Woo Hooness!
First I made a big poofy bow using three wired ribbons.
Next I started to hot glue in the little embellishments.
I had some little gingerbread ornaments from many years ago
and thought they'd work just fine and they did!
Poked in some lollipops, curly candy canes, poinsettias and some little red berries.
Now my inspie wreath had a little gingerbread couple.
I couldn't find a couple the right size so I opted for just one little gingerbread person.
I think he's a boy but the main thing is, he can cook!
That's very important you know!

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Gingerbread Man
Gingerbread man, me love you
Gingerbread man, 'cause you got
Cookie hands and cookie feet
You so brown and friendly and delicious to eat
Oh, gingerbread man, me love you
Gingerbread man, but fella, me not know what to do
'Cause you a cookie and a dolly, too
First me want to hug you like a best friend should
Then me want to eat you 'cause you taste so good
First me want to play with you my whole life through
But me want to put you in me tummy, too
Gingerbread man, me love you
Gingerbread man, me want to eat you 'cause you made of gingerbread
But, no, no, no, me love you so
Gingerbread man, me gonna keep you for a gingerbread friend
And eat oatmeal cookie instead
~ sung by my wreath and The Cookie Monster

Good Sunday morning Shelia, To answer, your question about the bird hanging on the deck, it is a bird house. My sister Diane gave it to me one year for my birthday. I have never had a bird nest in there but I love that it is a bird. Yes, our mountains are so pretty but not so much in the winter. There are five mountain ranges to view from our deck. This is the upper deck 20 feet high. This is the deck where the bear came to get the bird feeder...twice. That little table and chairs was knocked down but not broken. No more bird seeds now...Sigh!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday to you and your sweet hubs. I am picturing your beautiful decorated home as I write this comment. I love that we were able to meet so much.
Love, Jeanne
