Hello, Dear Ones!
I decided it was time to show you my Christmas tree in the day time.
Today the sun was shining through so sweetly so I snapped!
You know what I mean. :)
It's a little hard to get a snap without getting the chandy in the picture.
I fell in love with Deco Mesh last year after seeing all the joyness that Kristen at Kristens Creations and Liz at Savvy Seasons by Liz created with their trees.
I think I did a better job with it this year.
I made my same explosion again this year.
This was inspiration from Kristen again.
I do believe I need to poke a few more things into it.
Don't you love learning so much from our Blogging friends?
Deco Meshed and ornied!
Hope you've enjoyed seeing my Christmas tree in the daylight.
The sunshine just looked so pretty streaming in through the glass doors so I had to snap again.
My floor is not dirty, on the left those are the reflections of the little lights.
Just sayin'.
Didn't want you to think I was all nasty and all.
Just sayin'.
Didn't want you to think I was all nasty and all.
My little helper, Chloe Dawn, is always close by but she got tuckered out and decided to take a morning nap in the sunshine.
I love my little fuzzy face!

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true...
All I want for Christmas is
You... yeah
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
(and I) Don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
(ahhh) Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you... You baby
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true...
All I want for Christmas is
You... yeah
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
(and I) Don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
(ahhh) Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you... You baby
~ sung by Mariah Carey

ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas tree so pretty! I love Chloe too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful setting for your Art Deco tree. The staircase is lovely and a perfect place for such a beautiful tree.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree! I have always wanted to put a tree in my entry like ours. Maybe next year!
ReplyDeleteLove your tree. Love the deco mesh. I got some with red and white stripes at Cracker Barrel the other day I am going to use on a wreath.
ReplyDeleteAs always so beautiful. Love the tree, you are an inspiration to so many. Thanks for sharing. Karie
ReplyDeleteI loved all the pictures (Chloe Dawn looked so sweet there) but my absolute favourite is the first one. That amazing staircase as the backdrop just did it for me, along with the chandy. That photo would look really brilliant framed in some technique.
ReplyDeleteI was waiting for the daytime pic to comment and WOWW, you didn't disappoint Shelia. This is one really gorgeous tree. But gosh, that staircase is a close second.
x
It's just fabulous Sheila!! The beautiful tree just makes your entire entry look so grand. Thank you so much for sharing this at Inspiration Friday this week!
ReplyDeleteVanessa
Hi Shelia,
ReplyDeleteYour tree is stunning! and I love your curved staircase!! I love your furry face helped out, strangely my dogs don't care about the Christams stuff at all this year, lazy hounds:-)
Hugs,
Bella
Wow, what a tree! You have the perfect spot for a huge tree, Shelia. This is impressive!
ReplyDeleteYour tree standing next to your beautiful staircase looks like it could be on the cover of a magazine, Shelia! And your Chloe Dawn is just adorable. :@
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks so gorgeous!! I love it.
ReplyDeleteKathy
Oh Sheila! Your tree couldn't be any prettier! It's in the perfect spot by your beautiful curved staircase too. I wish my foyer was wide enough to allow a Chriatmas tree in there. Your stair railings are fantastic!! They look like they belong in a storybook cottage.
ReplyDeleteSheila, your tree is so beautiful! Stunning!
ReplyDeleteYour tree is gorgeous, Sheila!
ReplyDeleteWow, Shelia, it is just gorgeous! I really got into the mesh last year, too, but it was sold out before I had enough. I really think they were shipping it all up to Liz....lol! I bought a good supply as soon as it started showing up at HL, so I would have plenty this time around. It adds so much sparkle. That is such a beautiful location for your tree!
ReplyDeleteShelia,
ReplyDeleteIt is simply and utterly gorgeous. Just so charming and gracious! I want to try the mesh, too....I need to do that. :-)
Thanks so much for your visit to my new blog...you have always been the sweetest person. I do appreciate you so.
xoBarb
Beautiful tree. Enjoy the holidays. Hugs...Lu
ReplyDeleteYour tree is always gorgeous! It's a winner again this year! Ours isn't going up until next week when we return from a few days away. Our daughter and her four children will be here and I know our two-year-old granddaughter will either 'undecorate' or redecorate' the tree if it's up. A few decorations will go up - on the mantel, the entertainment center and the back of the piano so the children can see that Scrooge doesn't live here!
ReplyDelete~Adrienne~
Love it...love you...love Chloe Dawn!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy! Thank you for popping in to see me and looks like you have a little Schnauzer too.
DeleteBe a swetie,

Wow- very beautiful! You did a great job with the deco mesh. I still haven't tried it!
ReplyDeleteI am very intrigued with your stairway and the custom balusters!
Hi Shelia, All I can say is you have finally outdone your clever self. BIG smile here. This look is stunning in daylight. I would be getting up early everyday and watching the tree as the morning light is exposing the beauty of your tree. I'm not kidding. Now I want my tree to be up. Since we are leaving for the Christmas holiday for over two weeks I have decided not to decorate. I am already regretting my decision. Beautiful job of decorating your tree this year and I must add 'as always.'
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas decorating my dear friend. Do some for me. HA!
Love, Jeanne
How funny! I kid you not Shelia, as I am reading the song on your post the exact same song is playing on the radio...how awesome is that? Your tree is absolutely beautiful. Love all the crosses on it :-).
