Hello, Dear Ones!
First of all, let me tell you how much I appreciate all your comments on my last post
and all I want to say (in the words of Sally Field), "You like me, you really like me!"
God bless you all and you really are my sweeties.
Now let's end that chapter and get on with my Falling!
I'm so late on my Falling but I've started a bit and wanted to show you.
Do you see that little suitcase?
Mr. Precious picked it up for $2 and it is just a perfect little thing.
It just may become my perfect little suitcase.
Well, that little suitcase was just the ticket to poke Fallen things into.
My glass pun'kins were the first to jump into the perfect little suitcase.
I love my glass pun'kins and pull them out each year.
I tossed down a little doily to add a little girly girl Fallen touch.
I'm so talented like that, you know! :)
Teasing!!
Even though the inside of this little suitcase is pristine,
the lid just look to nekked (Texan for naked).
So, with all of my talentedness :) I tied a little bit of orange ribbon to the back of one of my Fallen wreaths and hung it on part of the clasp.
Then I just had to add a few little Fallen flowers.
Sunflowers!
My last touch was to add a nice Fallen leaves garland.
You can almost hear the crunch, crunch, crunch of the brittle leaves.
When you pull out a suitcase you're usually going on a trip, right?
Even if the suitcase is filled with Falleness.
Well, I just happened to poke my tiny head into Michael's Sunday after church and look what I found ~ this precious little red wagon and for only $5.00!! Score!!
So now we've got our ride.
Precious!
Scooch over some of the pun'kins and gourds and make yourself a nice place to sit.
Ready, set, let's go!!
Well, this is the first of my Falling and I'm sure I'll get a little more done in the next few days.
For some reason I'm craving some pun'kin pie! :)
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Falling In Love With You
When I'm close to you, I feel my heartbeat
telling me that you're the one for me.
Darling, I don't understand the reasons.
I just know that this was meant to be.
And when I look into your eyes I see it,
everything that I've been searchin' for.
Darlin', I don't understand this feeling,
I just know it's growing more and more.
Because I'm falling in love with you.
It's the easiest thing for me to do.
Yes, I'm falling in love with you, it's true.
I lie awake at night and think about you.
I wake up to another lonely day.
I know you'll never feel this way about me,
no matter what I do or say.
And I'm falling in love with you.
It's the easiest thing for me to do.
Yes, I'm falling in love with you, with you.
You say you're not the one for me,
that I am just a dreamer.
I've tried so hard to make you see
that someone like you
could make my dreams come true.
Because I'm falling in love with you.
It's the easiest thing for me to do.
Yes, I'm falling in love with you, it's true.
Yes, I'm falling in love with you.
It's the easiest thing for me to do.
Yes, I'm falling in love with you.
It's the easiest thing for me to do.
Yes, I'm falling.

Hi Sheila.. I am commenting on the post that you did regarding the negative email you rec'd. I wanted to share with you what YOUR blog has provided for me since I began reading your blog.
ReplyDeleteI lost my husband of 21 years very suddenly from a heart attack 2 years ago. The grief has been overwhelming at times. I stumbled across your blog about a year ago. I cannot begin to explain how much I have enjoyed your cheerful nature. You have made me laugh out loud several times. And the lyrics you take the time to post have brought me smiles, and tears as I read them.. Thank you. I am a grandma too to two little girls. They live 2 hrs away so dont I dont get to see them as often as I would like. So NEVER apologize for showing us too many pictures!! Who gets tired of seeing adorable little kids?? Not me!! You are a sweetie Sheila. Thank you for being here.
MJ
I just found your blog after reading about you on Sunny Simple Life, and I'm so glad I did. I really enjoyed reading your upbeat and happy posts. In the past, I've stopped reading other blogs because of their negative attitude. Don't get me wrong, I think everyone has their happy times and their not so happy times, and (of course) bloggers should feel free to share those times. But, negativity, just for negativity's sake, is not fun to read. Anyway, I'm glad I found you. Your posts are so pretty and make me feel good and, in today's world, that's ALWAYS a good thing! Keep up the good work!!
ReplyDeleteOhh lucky girl - $2!!! What a bargain!!!
ReplyDeleteYou'll have such fun with the change of the seasons!
Enjoy your weekend!
Leann
Such a pretty vignette Miss Shelia! Love those glass pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteShelia,
ReplyDeleteLovin' this little suitcase...full of Fallen vignette!!! Oh, dear friend, your faux Sunflowers are gorgeous!!! When I saw your little wagon, made me think of the hay rides our Youth Group always had this time of year!!! Now...about that Pumpkin Pie...save me a piece!!! I'm on my waayyyy!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Oh that is too cute! I love the suitcase and how you incorporated it with the fall accents!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful glass pumpkins! You had fun with this I can tell! Love the wagon too!
Hi, Shelia... unfortunately, I am still at sixes and sevens and have been waiting on Mr. Magpie to help me. He's so busy that he hasn't had a moment.
ReplyDeleteI heard about Claudie, but I can't find her address. I am waiting for Jeanne to email me. I left messages on her blog and hopes she see it.
Are you keeping abreast through Pacebook? I don't do that, but I imagine that it how Randy is handling things.
I am going to be working all weekend trying to pull the St. A house back together after being sick so long. We are cleaning all four porches from ceiling to walls to doors and widows to rails and columns to floors.
I'm on Mr. Magpie's Ipad thingy, and it is so hard for me to type on. So I make mistakes right and left and can't see them till they are in print. LOL Oh, for a laptop. Hopefully by Christmas. My camera is ailing, too. SIgh.
I can't see Janie (Blondie's) blog to post on there. Something about her background and this type of technology. I will try and borrow his computer tomorrow if I can.
Love you...
XO,
Sheila

A Saturday morning hello Shelia. My weeks go by like a flash lately. Well, most of the time. HA! I read your previous post and the sarcastic email just got to me. You are the brightest star in Blogland. I adore your posts and the criticism comes from a person who is clueless. "Pay no never mind" (my version of southern talk) and keep your posts just as they always are. How unkind can someone be. We all go through trials and tribulations in our life and I too do not care to share mine. When you write a fun and happy post it makes us happy. My choice is to be happy too and let my faith keep me grounded when things are not going well. Blessings to you for who you are. I choose to look at life just like you. There is always a sour apple in the bunch. Ignore them.
ReplyDeleteI feel better now. Your Fall suitcase is charming. I love all of your fun and pretty arrangement. We can go on a mini hayride in that wagon. HA!
Love you bunches,
Jeanne
