Hello, Dear Ones!
I'm ready to send off my two page spread of the circle journal I've been working on!
I'm so thrilled to be a part of this group of nine other gals. Our journals will return to us in the fall filled with each other's take on our themes.
This journal belongs to LaVerne and her theme is Gifts From the Sea.
This is what I came up with.
So living on an island, I thought I would just expand or regress.
You decide. :)
I thought about taking a journey. You know we always want to let everyone back home know how much fun we're having. So...an olden post card to make everyone jealous, um, I mean, to tell everyone how much I miss them! ;) I'm a stinker.
Now the magic begins!
Don't you just love magic and the excitement of going to visit a new place brings?
Even olden places we love to visit bring us that magical excitement.
So I just had to poke in a mermaid.
Mermaids are very exciting! :)
And beautiful!
Aw...paradise!
Don't you love the definition of paradise?!
Oh, what a wonderful world.
As you can see, everyone is enjoying the gifts of the sea in this lovely paradise.
Splashing in the water, building sand castles, strolling along the shore, fishing, or just struttin' your stuff! Paradise.
I hope LaVerne will like my take on her Gifts From the Sea.
Now off to the Post Office to mail it on to Susan and then I'll be receiving Nancy's journal in a few days.
I'll be back to show you what I create with her journal in a month! :)
I'm joining Funky Junk Interiors for Saturday Night Special,
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
Beyond the Sea
Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waitin' for me
My lover stands on golden sand
And watches the ships that go sailin'
Somewhere beyond the sea
She's there watchin' for me
If I could fly like birds on high
Then straight to her arms I'd go sailin'
It's far beyond the star
It's near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
My heart will lead me there soon
We'll meet beyond the shore
We'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be, beyond the sea
And never again I'll go sailin'
I know beyond a doubt,
My heart will lead me there soon
We'll meet, I know we'll meet
Beyond the shore
We'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be, beyond the sea
And never again I'll go sailin'
Somewhere waitin' for me
My lover stands on golden sand
And watches the ships that go sailin'
Somewhere beyond the sea
She's there watchin' for me
If I could fly like birds on high
Then straight to her arms I'd go sailin'
It's far beyond the star
It's near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
My heart will lead me there soon
We'll meet beyond the shore
We'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be, beyond the sea
And never again I'll go sailin'
I know beyond a doubt,
My heart will lead me there soon
We'll meet, I know we'll meet
Beyond the shore
We'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be, beyond the sea
And never again I'll go sailin'
~ sung by Bobby Darin
