I swooned when I saw it. Well...
Oh, I was getting so excited!!
Almost done! My last step was to rescue a little birdie who was hiding in a drawer. She's nesting on the red bow now, having a glorious time and whistling "White Christmas"!
I just want you to know ~ I love Blogland too and I'm a copy cat and if I see something of yours I love, I just may copy it too! :) Hope you don't mind. The inspiration is amazing and now there's Pinterest. No wonder I can't get to bed at an appropriate time! :)
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
Christmas Time Is Here
Christmas time is here
Happiness and cheer
Fun for all that children call
Their favorite time of the year
Snowflakes in the air
Carols everywhere
Olden times and ancient rhymes
Of love and dreams to share
Sleigh bells in the air
Beauty everywhere
Yuletide by the fireside
And joyful memories there
Christmas time is here
We'll be drawing near
Oh, that we could always see
Such spirit through the year
Oh, that we could always see
Such spirit through the year...
Happiness and cheer
Fun for all that children call
Their favorite time of the year
Snowflakes in the air
Carols everywhere
Olden times and ancient rhymes
Of love and dreams to share
Sleigh bells in the air
Beauty everywhere
Yuletide by the fireside
And joyful memories there
Christmas time is here
We'll be drawing near
Oh, that we could always see
Such spirit through the year
Oh, that we could always see
Such spirit through the year...

Gosh it's beautiful and you are smart to use plastic. My cat broke one of my wreaths with glass balls in the closet a few weeks ago and it was one hot mess but he is okay and that is what is important.
ReplyDeleteJust delightful, Shelia. You are the creative little thing!!
ReplyDeleteI am growing my hair out also....that is until it gets hot again. Ha.

Oh my goodness, Shelia, that is so beautiful, and what a good idea using plastic balls! I may just have to copy YOU!
ReplyDeleteYour ornament wreath is very festive looking. You did a great job copying the original. I'll tell you a secret. You can buy that canned snow (they sell it at Walmart for around $1/can) and spray anything you want to look snow covered. The best part is that it is cheap and looks very realistic and best of all it is not permanent. So, if you want to wash it off you can (unlike spraypaint). Just thought I'd share that with you.
ReplyDeleteStunning! i just love it! great job!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I've never made one, but am certainly envious. Yes, love Pinterest!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
