I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
Go Light Your World
There is a candle in every soul
Some brightly burning, some dark and cold
There is a Spirit who brings a fire
Ignites a candle and makes His home
So carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
Frustrated brother, see how he's tried to
Light his own candle some other way
See now your sister, she's been robbed and lied to
Still holds a candle without a flame
So Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
Cause We are a family whose hearts are blazing
So let's raise our candles and light up the sky
Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus
Make us a beacon in darkest times
So Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
Some brightly burning, some dark and cold
There is a Spirit who brings a fire
Ignites a candle and makes His home
So carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
Frustrated brother, see how he's tried to
Light his own candle some other way
See now your sister, she's been robbed and lied to
Still holds a candle without a flame
So Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world

Oh Sweetie, I think you are the best copy cats out there. Your room looks divine. You know I lived in St.Louis for 40 years and Ms. Mary Englebright was a friend and customer of mine. Her first book on Christmas featured several pictures from my townhouse there in the city. If you have it, or can find it, it would be fun if you looked it up. Maybe I will do a post about it soon. Anyhow drop by first chance you get and see Sissy Dog's trip to see Santa.Richard from My Old Historic House.
ReplyDeleteI love your copy cat and your gorgeous old mirror. If you look at the inspiration their chandy is in the picture also! Great job and I like the donkey...a special you touch. hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Miss Shelia I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! Absolutely beautiful and I love the candlelight shot! Martina
ReplyDeleteDo you realize that I saved that magazine article from years ago too? I loved that home they featured. Your version is just as pretty. I love the symetry of that design on the sideboard and above it.

Hi Sheila, Your version is a beauty. I love your olden mirror just the way it is, and yes your plates are prettier. Awesome that you have such an old magazine. I have an old Coastal Living magazine from 2000. I just could never throw that one away either. On the cover it had a view that was an inspiration photo for finding my beach house!
ReplyDeleteYour copy cat challenge was a delight to read!
Shelia, it is stunning and I like your mirror and plates better. You have no need of copping catting my friend but very well done indeed. ♥O
ReplyDeleteFantastic job. It's beautiful.
