Hope you've enjoyed my little home tour.
I'm still battling this upper respiratory mess I've gotten into. I'm on my second round of meds and today is my last dose. I feel better but I'm so weak. I can't afford to feel like this! So this is way I'm showing you reruns today.
I'm joining The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sunday
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
There's No Place Like Home
There’s no place like home
Well I say now home, home sweet home
There’s no place like home
Wherever you wander
There’s no place like home
Well I used to have a sweetheart
To walk and talk with me
But now I have no sweetheart
What pleasure do I see
There’s no place like home
Well I say now home, home sweet home
There’s no place like home
Wherever you wander
There’s no place like home
There’s no place like home
~ sung by me

Well I say now home, home sweet home
There’s no place like home
Wherever you wander
There’s no place like home
Well I used to have a sweetheart
To walk and talk with me
But now I have no sweetheart
What pleasure do I see
There’s no place like home
Well I say now home, home sweet home
There’s no place like home
Wherever you wander
There’s no place like home
There’s no place like home
~ sung by me

ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better soon, Sheila! I hate being sick; it just wipes me out and makes me tired. Your house looks wonderful! I wanted to do a tour of my new place and need to pick up the pace. Otherwise, it will be happening in between Christmas decorations at this rate!
ReplyDeleteSheila, I enjoyed your fallen tour. Your home is so pretty and inviting. The green in the living room is pretty, but if you are ready for a change then go for it.
ReplyDeleteSheila, Your Fall vignettes are so pretty and give me so many good ideas for changing things in my house. Thanks for the inspiration. I know what you mean about the color in your living room. I've had green in the kitchen/breakfast room for many years and can't decide if I want something different. Wouldn't it be nice just to blink and it would change? Just to see if you like it?
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday.
Babs
Your home is gorgeous! You have decorated each room with loving care. I love your attention to every detail. Hope you get over that nasty illness real soon! Susie
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila!
ReplyDeleteYour home really is so warm and inviting! If inwere to change the wall colors i think a good nuetral that has gold tones in it would look warm with your beautiful things!
I also have a love of roosters and yours are so elegantly dispersed.
I think i have that same crud cuz my nose is a stuffy..hoping it wont need meds..but it usually gets me.

Lorena

I'm so sorry to hear that you're still battling that illness. My husband had that earlier this year and it took him a long time to get over it. I think that's just the nature of that illness. You described how he felt too. Your home looks so lovely. Hopefully, you'll be all well in time to decorate for Christmas in the next few weeks.

Have a great week, Shelia.

Oh Sheila,
ReplyDeleteI love all of the beautiful photos in this post. You have no reason at all to be embarrassed of those wreaths on the doors. I think they're gorgeous. I don't even have one up right now.
Your entryway blew me away. I don't think I've seen it before...I would remember. It is sooooo gorgeous with that winding staircase. I think I'm jealous! ;-)
Nancy
hope you feel better soon
I loved your house tour. Thanks for the compliments on my kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI truly hope you feel better soon. It sounds like you have that mess I came down with at the beach. I tolerated the Biaxin for 8 days, and then threw it away. I just doctored myself with Advil Cold and Sinus, took lots of vitamins and hoped for the best. I had a pneumonia shot last year, so I kept my fingers crossed it would not get into my chest, and it didn't. I thought the meds were worse than the bug! It lasted two entire weeks, and I still felt really week for quite a while.
I feel fine now, so you will too, soon I hope.
I think your idea for a creamy color in your LR is a good one, but I also think it looks pretty the way it is. We all like a change now and then, don't we?
ETS
Your Fall home is absolutely beautiful. Everywhere you turn, there is a lovely vignette, full of Fall goodness. Anyone who visits your home must leave feeling good and ready to celebrate the season! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful as everything you do my dear Pickle girl..Now I like the LR wall color as I have to have color in my life..everyone is jumping on the no color band wagon in blogland..I think we are the only 2 people left with color in our homes..I pray all is well with you girl..Carter is just darling and getting so big..I told Candace I wished I could bind up Landen and keep him little forever ha ha!! I just love that sweet little boy and he also is getting too big..I have not been able to even pick him up for over a month..Poor thing walks into my house holding out his little arms..so now I just sit on the floor with him sighs!!
ReplyDeleteLove ya girl..hugs and love Gloria
Oh Sheila , I just love it all girl ! Love your favorite spot in the kitchen. I like your living room walls
