I threw down a light gray green table runner and grabbed one of my white tureens. Then I poked in some of my faux fruits and ta dah! I was done! Well, I did take the lid off and laid down the ladle! Is that like laying down the law? :)
Artichokes just look so Fallen to me, don't you think? Green and red - variety!
This shot is in my new Fallen header above. I'm so creative you know! :)

Thanks for popping in to see me and keep me in you prayers as there's no telling where I'm going to Fall next.
I'm joining The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays,
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
Breaking Up Is Hard To Do
Doo doo doo down doo be do down down
come on come on
down doo be do down down
breaking up is hard to do.
Don't take your love away from me
don't you leave my heart in misery.
If you go then I'll be blue
'cause breaking up is hard to do.
Remember when you held me tight
And you kissed me all through the night
Come on babe let's start a new
'cause breaking up is hard to do.
They say that breaking up is hard to do.
Now I know I know that it's true
don't say that this is the end.
Instead of breaking up
I wish that we are making up again.
I beg of love away from me
don't you leave my heart in misery.
If you go then I'll be blue
'cause breaking up is hard to do.
come on come on
down doo be do down down
breaking up is hard to do.
Don't take your love away from me
don't you leave my heart in misery.
If you go then I'll be blue
'cause breaking up is hard to do.
Remember when you held me tight
And you kissed me all through the night
Come on babe let's start a new
'cause breaking up is hard to do.
They say that breaking up is hard to do.
Now I know I know that it's true
don't say that this is the end.
Instead of breaking up
I wish that we are making up again.
I beg of love away from me
don't you leave my heart in misery.
If you go then I'll be blue
'cause breaking up is hard to do.
I am so proud of you...for not buying any new fall decor...but you left off the word YET! I almost always break down and buy something!! I laughed at your artsy shot...my new post has one!! I really want to say Artsy Fartsy...but then again...someone might get Offended!! but I think it!!

I don't do seasons around this house but yours is lovely, honey. You're posting less like I am. I just can't keep up with it and serve my mission for the church along with regular things to do around the house. So something has to suffer.
ReplyDeleteBTW, how is Miss Carter? Aren't grandkids fun? I'm loving my great granddaughter so much I sit and watch the videos and photos her mummy and daddy have put on facebbook. I know, I'm pathetic. ;-p
xoxo,
Connie

ReplyDeleteFall has fallen everywhere at your place..well bit by bit. I do love the beautiful leaves in the fall. It brings such beauty...but as you know around "these parts" we don't want, well most of us, don't want fall for another month, or two. *s*.
Your laden and faux flowers are lovely.

ReplyDeleteShelia, so pretty. Everything is so colorful and full of cheer.
ReplyDeleteI love your dining table. The one we have in our family room is solid pecan. They don't make beautiful furniture anymore like this unless you want to pay a complete fortune.
Just darling.
Barb ♥
I won't be buying anything new either (except for the pumpkins)...I love the artichokey centerpiece! We were at an antiques store this weekend looking for new night stands and the mid-century, 1950's and 60's furniture there was incredibly expensive!! Hang on to that dining room set...it may be worth a mint!!
ReplyDeleteFall is abounding in your dinning room! Just lovely, and I really like that you did not buy anything new~ you didn't need to!
ReplyDeleteI am inspired to get moving with my fall decor!

ReplyDeleteI wanted to drop by and tell you how much I love and appreciate you and your sweet comments on my last post. Your prayers and well wishes have helped sustain me through this very, very sad time in my life. I miss my Adelaide more than I can tell you in words, but I am so thankful that she is with our Lord. What do people do who don't have Him? I would hate to even imagine!
I'm trying to blog a little as I can. Lots still going on here, but I wanted to drop in and leave you a love note.
XO,
Sheila
yep..it's Fall at your house! How pretty! As always, simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh..I read your title wrong I guess and thought it said,"I've fallin' in the dining room.." and I expected you to say when I got here "..and I can't get up!" and then I read it correctly!
Ah well.it's late. Shelia..your home is always such a delight to visit. Everything thing is always so gorgeous! So...that being said..can I come and live with you? :):)
Hugs,
Mona
