Lipstick On Your...

Hi Dear Ones. Do you remember that old song "Lipstick On Your Collar" by Connie Francis? Well, I have just the silliest tiny little mind and that song popped into my head while I was uploading my snaps.

So Lipstick on your...
...starry Texas table! Yes, ma'am! I showed you my little changeroos on my sun porch and this little table was there sitting against the wall awaiting her turn. I can't thank you all enough for your wonderful comments. You make my head swell! :) Blushing here!

So I thought I would show you what I did to my starry Texas table.

First of all, my very handsome Mr. Rooster lamp. I just love him. Can you love a handsome Mr. Rooster lamp? Well, you bet your chicken scratch you can! :)

What's not to adore here? Bushy tail feathers, Gorgeous face and look at that comb, and he's standing on fruit! He just has it all.

Next I poked down three of my white pitchers and backed them up with a sweet Pink Willow tray.

Don't you love Willow? I do, no matter what color it is!

Three little white pitchers looking so pristinely white!

Here comes the lipstick! I poked in some lipstick red geraniums in my largest pitcher!

What do you think? Is the lipstick on straight? :) You know I'm a silly! I never know what I'm going to write on my posts until I upload my snaps and just start going to town! ;)

Lipstick Red! Gotta love it so pucker up, Dear Ones! kiss kiss

Be a bunch of Sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Lipstick on Your Collar

When you left me all alone
At the record hop
Told me you were going out
For a soda pop
You were gone for quite awhile
Half an hour or more
You came back
And man, oh man
This is what I saw
Lipstick on your collar
Told a tale on you
Lipstick on your collar
Said you were untrue
Bet your bottom dollar
You and I are through
'Cause lipstick on your collar
Told a tale on you, yeah
[Instrumental Interlude]
You said it belonged to me
Made me stop and think
And then I noticed yours was red
Mine was baby pink
Who walked in but Mary Jane
Lipstick all a mess
Were you smoochin' my best friend
Guess the answer's yes
Lipstick on your collar
Told a tale on you
Lipstick on your collar
Said you were untrue
Bet your bottom dollar
You and I are through
'Cause lipstick on your collar
Told a tale on you, boy
Told a tale on you, man
Told a tale on you, yeah
~ sung by Connie Francis
