I'm joining Our Dear Cielo at The House in the Roses for Show Off Your Cottage Monday.
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Sing A Song
Sing, sing a song
Sing out loud
Sing out strong
Sing of good things, not bad
Sing of happy, not sad.
Sing, sing a song
Make it simple
To last your whole life long
Don't worry that it's not good enough
for anyone else to hear
Just sing, sing a song.
Sing, sing a song
Let the world sing along
Sing of love there could be
Sing for you and for me.
Sing, sing a song
Make it simple
To last your whole life long
Don't worry that it's not good enough
for anyone else to hear
Just sing, sing a song.
~ sung by The Carpenters

Don't you just love it when the sun shines in the window? Makes everything seem perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh Shelia everything looks so fresh and bright and light! The sun is so pretty streaming in your windows...I am sitting her listening to ice pelting down outside...I don't like it and am praying we don't lose our power! Send me your sunshine!!
ReplyDeleteLou Cinda ;)
Sunshine transforms a room, doesn't it? Your living room looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteI have sung that song a time or two in my life! It does feel so nice to put it all away and start fresh. I love the floor lamp that sits by your piano! :D
ReplyDeleteThose are truly my favorite shots Sheila...I love the stream, your room looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour room is filled with beautiful sunshine! Love those little bird plates...

Shelia, it just looks wonderful! I love your pretty house, and the light is perfect.

Our cottages look a little bare after Christmas but...I....LOVE....IT..!!
ReplyDeleteLove the winter sun, too. :)
I love when the sun shines in and creates light and shadows like that. No sun here. Snow coming!
ReplyDeleteIt's so refreshing to see sunshine dancing through the room in winter. Your descriptions made me giggle too!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, you totally had me rocking the Carpenters song.
ReplyDeleteI love music!!!!!! I miss having my piano....I gave it to my son so he could give his daughter piano lessons. Maybe someday I will have one again.
and SUNSHINE....how it warms the body and soul.
The rays of sunshine are like little reminders of "hope" I think. gently trying to cheer up our worn out souls sometimes.
I adore the tall lamp standing beside the piano. so vintage looking.
Hi Shelia,
ReplyDeleteEverything is so pretty! I just want to sink into your couch and read a book.
Kathy

The sun is always welcome flooding through the windows. Chirp on little birdies, help bring in the spring... Your house is lovely all lit with natural light.
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila,I like the color of your walls in your living room. Do you remember the color name ?
ReplyDeleteOh, how I wish the sunshine would shine directly into my living room - and my kitchen. But, alas, it never will - cuz they face north. But...the Master Bedroom & Bath, Laundry Room, Pantry and Den all face south - so they get lots of sunshine! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your sunny photos and your sunny disposition!!
Hello dear, sweet, silly Shelia,
ReplyDeleteI have always enjoyed hearing that song, the Carpenters do a lovely job of it.

Hi Sheila
ReplyDeleteWith the sun shining in like that, it makes your sitting area look sooo cozy.
Long ago I had a piano book of the Carpenter's songs but it must have got lost in a move along the way. They had a great sound and I like Sing a Song.
Judith
In my part of Texas, well, there is no sun and we have some snow!! The sun shining in your rooms like that just makes me happy. I love your songs and you have such a happy blog.
