I wonder if you have discovered anything about yourself you would like to change in this coming year? I think for myself I need to be a bit more organized and get at it more! :) I've adjusted to Mr. Precious' retirement pretty good - but every day seems a bit like Saturday and I just can't afford to play all week long! :) So for 2011 I'm going to pop out of bed, get ready for my day, eat more healthy, blog a lot ~ at appropriate times ~ instead of staying in my nighties until 10am (well, or even later) and staying on my puter all day. Sound like a plan? :)
Again, Happy New Year and I'm so looking forward to another year with all of you Dear Ones.
Be safe and see you next year! :)
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Auld Lang Syne
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll drink a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne!

Happy New Year!
Hope you have a fabulous New Year dear friend. All of God's best. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, your life sounds just like mine. We are both retired too....and I most often sit around in my pj's until practically noon. sitting at the puter, working on a puzzle, watching the "Today" show......I TOTALLY WANT TO GET MORE MOTIVATED for this next year.
ReplyDeleteWe also live in the country, so no one is ever even around for me to have to "get ready" for.
But I want new adventures for this next year....open myself up for Growth (and I am not talking of the girth kind)
have a very happy new year
I, too am working on organizing -- I've reorganized our paperwork and both bathrooms -- so that's a start! Hoping to get to the pantry soon and up in the attic some. We're supposed to get some additional outside storage soon -- so I think that will be a big help as well....now my craft room *sigh* -- that's another story! Drinking my "cup of kindness" and praying for a good year ahead for all my bloggy buddies! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Shelia. Always a joy to visit with you and I look forward to seeing what 2011 brings in blogland!

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Shelia! How funny that we both had husbands that retired and feel like everyday is Saturday! HiHoney and I both are enjoying retirement...somedays til Noon in PJ's. He says...Well, why not...you got someplace better to be? I say nope, and continue to blog! Worked out pretty well in 2010, but like you, I'm thinkin' 2011 might better get outta PJ's closer to 9 or 10...am!!!
