Hello, Dear Ones and welcome to another Rooster Party hosted by our Most Dear Barb at
Bella Vista. Make sure you pop in to see her and you'll see so many yard birds you'll want to go buy some chicken feed! Yes, you will!! :) Now lelt's get down to some serious Roosterness...

I'd like to show you my absolute most favorite Rooster! That's him standing on the vegetables.

Mr. Precious gave him to me many years ago filled with red roses. Mr. Rooster is actually a vase. I just love him! :)

I always have a Rooster vignette going on here in my breakfast room on my olden book shelves. Even a painting of a couple of yard birds is hanging above it.

Rooster tea pot with matching creamer and sugar bowl. I just love this stuff!

This little trio started my Rooster obsession. We purchased them while on a trip to Italy! Too cute! Love them too!

I have two of these Rooster plates hanging on the wall on either side of my little china cabinet here in the breakfast room.

I'd like to show you my Rooster lamp (that's with a capital "R"). He's so grand and glorious and I love him! I do really love him and Mr. Precious is not even jealous!

Isn't he so handsome?

I have a few sets of Rooster dishes! These were given to me at Christmas by my Mr. Precious!

Here's another set I've had a long time. I also have some Rooster glasses and sweet little Rooster Napkins rings given to me by Jan at Rose Haven.

These are my newest Rooster dishes. Love 'em. Gotta have those Rooster napkin rings to go along with Rooster plates!

I do love my little Salt & Peppers! Can you love little Salt & Peppers? You bet your fried chicken you can! Shut my mouth! :) The two bottom sets are very olden - from my childhood!

Sweet little darling Rooster dessert plates! Aren't they sweet? I love these too. I love so many things! :)

You've probably seen these before. I made these pillows a couple of years ago. I embroidered them and used this sweet fabric!!

You may have seen this vignette at Marty's Cloche Party but I have these two little Roosters that took up residence by the wire cloche.

I just love Rooster vignettes!! I recently found this cute metal basket and had to have it! Poked some plates in it and Voila!

Look at Mr. Rooster! Isn't he stunning? Since it says he's a gold Rooster I wonder how much he is worth by the ounce? :)

Then, look at these little darlings! Our Dear Susan at Between Naps on the Porch showed this to us on a tabesetting and said they were for sale. Well, as sweet as she is, she poked them in my face, um I saw them and had to have them. So I bought these precious Salt and Peppers!

You've probably seen these before too, my vintage canisters that I use. They are probably chickens but they were so jealous and pleaded with me to take their pictures too! So what can I say? I'm nice! :)

Rooster platter with whiteness of Roosters and one covered chicken dish.

This little vignette is located in a corner space in my kitchen. I love to play in the corners!

I'll show you my olden spice set filled with Roosters! The little wooden crate that holds all the little spice jars was just a light wood color but I decided it looked rather nasty so I spray painted it a deep blood red! Roosters love that color, did you know that?

Aren't the little spice jars darling? I don't put anything in them ~ just like to look at them. They all have a tiny little yellow knob so you can pull them out of their slots.

Have I told you I love Salt & Peppers? Well, I do and here are some darling little ones I found at Hobby Lobby a while back. They make me smile. Then I went back to Hobby Lobby and was prowling around the sales aisle and found this...

The matching Big Ole Rooster! Isn't he the cutest thing? He's really a vase so I poked in some greens and he is as content as can be.

Hanging on this tiny little spot of wall by the fridge, I hung a Rooster hook that was given to me by my friend Jan at Rose Haven.

And what would a Rooster loving gal hang on that hook? Why, a Rooster apron, of course! I also have a little cute Rooster tassel hanging there made by our Dear Susie at Bienvenue - just precious!

Do you like my little Rooster tea towels? I made these a few weeks ago. They're not very practical though. They're made of just simple little cotton, but I think they're as cute as a bug! I guess Roosters eat bugs don't they? :) You know I'm a silly.
Hoped you've enjoyed seeing some of my Roosterness today. Be sure you pop in to see our hostess, Dear Barb at
Bella Vista to see all the participants of the Rooster Party!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
That's Amore
(In Napoli where love is King)
(When boy meets girl)
(Here's what they say)
When the moon hits your eye
Like a big-a pizza pie
That's amore
When the world seems to shine
Like you've had too much wine
That's amore
Bells'll ring
Ting-a-ling-a-ling
Ting-a-ling-a-ling
And you'll sing "Vita bella"
Hearts'll play
Tippi-tippi-tay
Tippi-tippi-tay
Like a gay tarantella
When the stars make you drool
Joost-a like pasta fazool
That's amore
When you dance down the street
With a cloud at your feet, you're in love
When you walk in a dream
But you know you're not dreamin', signore
'Scusami, but you see
Back in old Napoli, that's amore
(When the moon hits your eye)
(Like a big-a pizza pie, that's amore)
That's amore
(When the world seems to shine
(Like you've had too much wine, that's amore)
That's amore
(Bells will ring)
(Ting-a-ling-a-ling)
(ting-a-ling-a-ling)
(And you'll sing "Vita bella")
(Vita bell-vita bella)
(Hearts will play)
(Tippi-tippi-tay, tippi-tippi-tay)
(Like a gay tarantella)
Lucky fella
When the stars make you drool just like pasta fazool
That's amore (that's amore)
When you dance down the street
With a cloud at your feet, you're in love
When you walk in a dream
But you know you're not dreaming, signore
'Scusami, but you see
Back in old Napoli, that's amore

Your home is filled with roostery goodness!!
ReplyDeleteI do love all your roosters. I LOVE the rooster tea towel you made! Just Gorgeous! This may seem like a silly question, but how do you make one and are they just for decoration or can you use and wash them? I'm not much of a sewer but I really want to try making a few but don't know where to start. If you have time, a tutorial would be great!
Anyhoo, love the pillows that you made also!
