Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
The Time of My Life
Now I've had the time of my life
No I never felt like this before
Yes I swear it's the truth
and I owe it all to you
'Cause I've had the time of my life
and I owe it all to you
I've been waiting for so long
Now I've finally found someone
To stand by me
We saw the writing on the wall
As we felt this magical fantasy
Now with passion in our eyes
There's no way we could disguise it secretly
So we take each other's hand
'Cause we seem to understand the urgency
Just remember
You're the one thing
I can't get enough of
So I'll tell you something
This could be love because
I've had the time of my life
No I never felt this way before
Yes I swear it's the truth
And I owe it all to you
'Cause I've had the time of my life
And I've searched through every open door
'Til I found the truth
And I owe it all to you
With my body and soul
I want you more than you'll ever know
So we'll just let it go
Don't be afraid to lose control
Yes I know whats on your mind
When you say:
"Stay with me tonight."
Just remember
You're the one thing
I can't get enough of
So I'll tell you something
This could be love because
'Cause I had the time of my life
No I've never felt this way before

Oh Shelia what breathtaking pictures!!! I want to stow away in your suitcase for the next Alaskan trip!! I would LOVE to go on a cruise like that but hubby won't do it. I can't WAIT until Lexi is old enough to go with me on something like that!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww, your daughter and granddaughter are sooooo CUTE!!!♥
Hi Shelia,
ReplyDeleteYour Alaskan trip looks like a wonderful time. I've never been, but would like to go someday.
Your photos are wonderful.
The best photo, of course, is your sweet precious granddaughter and your daughter.

Sissie
It looks like you had a great time on your trip and Carter's getting so big and beautiful!

Loved all the trip pictures, Shelia, but oh, how I love that picture of the three of you! How adorable! I hope you and Mr. P have a wonderful time with your girls. Take lots of pictures for us!
ReplyDeleteXOXOXO,
Sheila :-)
My bloggy friend..you are just the bestest photographer ever! Ever!
ReplyDeleteThat little grand is one of the most adorable little guys I have ever seen! What a chub and how fast he is growing!

What a great trip! I don't think I'll be going on another cruise again soon -- poor Mr. Mid-Atlantic got really sea sick on ours! But I've loved yours through pictures. That baby is just adorable -- you could just eat her with a spoon! Of course with two gorgeous women as Mama and Grandmama, how could she possibly be anything else?
ReplyDeleteHi Shelia! Your trip looks wonderful! I've been hearing all about Alaska from my husband for the last few days. He's been fishing with customers near Ketchican. He's bringing home 100 lbs of fish. Don't ask me what we will do with all of that!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the three girls is precious. Love Carter's smile.
Hi sweet Shelia ~ I sent my friend Dottie who just started bloggyville today to follow you & your beautiful travels/writes.
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness! What a beautiful mosaic of Victoria. We love it there, but being from we WA ST we saw it often. It sure beats Vancouver, BC doesn't it.
And, that precious pink Carter is GORGEOUS, Shelia ... she so resembles her beautiful g'ma.
Glad you had a lovely trip.
Have a lovely summer's eve ~
TTFN ~ Hugs, Marydon
We have gone with the Holland American lines and they are great1 I would so love to do the Alaska trip. I am so glad to see the pic's of little Carter and her mom...they are so beautiful and you are so lite up with them! :D

ReplyDeleteShelia,
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful time .. must be since this was your third Alaska cruise! It's on our list! Beautiful mosaics and enjoy your Carter!
She is a doll!
ReplyDeleteThe cruise looks like lots of fun and good weather.
Enjoy your girls!
Sheila, Am I the only person who loves to look at vacation pictures? I would love to see more! I guess it's like armchair traveling. And was it terrifying to hear the glacier fall? You look like royalty sitting in those huge chairs! And why are you wearing those white hats? See, these are the things I love to hear about! Your daughter looks just like you and that little one is absolutely adorable! Thanks for the little trip! Linda
ReplyDeleteYour trip looks like so much fun Shelia! Both our boys spent a summer in Alaska working on cruise liners and they loved it there!
ReplyDeleteThat grandbaby is growing by little leaps and bounds!! So fun that you got to spend time with your girls!

Alaska is one of the few placed I've never been...love the photos and I KNOW you are enjoying BOTH girls...bless your heart!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had a wonderful time-your pictures look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteCarter is certainly growing up to be a sweet thing-that is a million dollar smile!
Best wishes for a beautiful week,
Natasha.

Sheila,
ReplyDeleteYour mosaics are wonderful, the icebergs just stunning. One day Mr B & I plan to take an Alaskan cruise.
In the meantime your pix have only whetted my appetite even more.
Oh Sheila!! I stopped in just in time! I wanted to ask about little Carter and she is so beautiful!! So are you and your daughter for that matter!! Your trip to Alaska looks wonderful. I don't blame you for wanting to get away from the heat. We are all experiencing it this year. My brother is home from Nashville and is savoring the 80 degree temps here in Maine versus the 100 degrees back there! It's been much better the last few days. Your mosaics are wonderful!! What a lucky woman you are!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you haven't been blogging! Wouldn't want you to miss a single moment with your girls. Carter is darling - what a happy smile! Thanks for sharing your trip. I'm ready to leave now - oh, but I have to wait for our adventure to Alaska for a couple more years when my sweetheart retires! You've given me 'food' for thought and reason to anticipate!
ReplyDelete~Adrienne
Looks like a fabulous trip! Nice photos....thanks for sharing them in such a great way.
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures!! Alaska is the most gorgeous place to visit. I'll never forget the sounds the glaciers made in the water!!
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteI came to visit and was surprised to see that you're going to link in. Perhaps you're having such a good visit that you've forgotten. Ah well, what's more important? Daughter and granddaughter, of course!
Johnny and I visited Victoria once and loved, loved, loved it. Oh, those blooms!
Happy Blue Monday, Shelia. (Now, come link in.)
Hi Shelia!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing trip! Your daughter and grandaughter are both adorable! What a wonderful time you must have had...and y'all had Mr. Precious totally outnumbered! HA...girl power! :)
That was a cool pic with the eagles. I'm always thrilled beyond belief to see 1 eagle and look how many are in that photo!!! Wow!
Oh what a precious baby Carter is! Such a happy baby! Your daughter is lovely too and so is grandma. Love your Alaska pictures! I have taken so many cruises but never been to Alaska so it's nice to see a preview cause I am determined to go there too...Christine

Hello Shelia~Your photos are amazing, you captured some great shots. I could almost feel the cool breeze on my hot flashin' face, lol.
ReplyDeleteI've been thoroughly enjoying our summer weather, it's so fleeting here in the PNW, so August is our last chance at a little sunshine.
I can't believe how much Carter has grown. You girls will have to stop by, I posted a tutorial I think you'll find fun.
Sweet wishes,
Sara

I have always wanted to take a cruise. Tell me is it true that the bedrooms or state rooms are incredibly small? Yes, being a grandma is the best!!! No other love.
ReplyDeleteI came to your blog to introduce myself. My name is Sherry and I have joined the Bloggerette Sorority. I missed the rush, as I have only been blogging for about 3weeks, but I am looking forward to joining in on the fun in the future. I would be honored if you visited my blog at http://scrappingwithsherry1.blogspot.com/ Hope to see you there!
Take Care and Be Careful!~ Sherry

I hope you share pics of the one you make for Carter.

All your pics of the cruise remind m of our wonderful trip. We have only been once, but I would love to go back. Look at your precious granddaughter. I guess we understand why you haven't been around much. Enjoy them both.
