Hello, Dear Ones...I'm milking this post and am using my Pink Sister in the Bloggerette Sorority Post for my Pink Saturday contribution. Pink Saturday is hosted by our Most Dear Pink Beverly at
How Sweet the Sound.
Let the RUSH begin!!

Hello, Dear Ones! I'm so excited today because
Karen at Some Days Are Diamonds has asked us if we wanted to rush to be in the new Bloggerette Sorority in Blogland! Oh, yes! I wanna do this! I wanna be in the special sorority! So this was our day to RUSH!

We were to take this beautiful olden photo of sweet ladies and DO something with it and then we had to BE in the picture ourselves! Oh, the fun! The joyness! And we are supposed to tell you where we're from - I'm in Texas!

Well, whoop dee doo! Here's the picture of the lovely olden ladies and I'm in there too!

Then...

While making my 'Sisters' tag for the framed photo, I thought about scrapbooking. I haven't been able to scrap in over two years! So I was inspired and made a scrapbook page. Oh, I enjoyed this so much. As you can tell, it doesn't take much to excite me! :)

Here's a little look at some of the embellishments I used. Love this stuff!

Lovely olden sisters...

Oh, I think I recognize someone...

Look at that most gorgeous one in the middle with the big hair!! Does she look familiar to you?

It's me! I put my most gorgeous tiny self in the picture! In reality, I'm not even 5 feet tall, so I decided I would be the tallest young lady. In reality I have very short tiny hair so - I found another picture of a Victorian lady and took off her hair and put it on my tiny head then I frooed and frooed with it and curled it up, puffed it up and longed it up! Oh, look at my head of hair. I would love to have a head of hair like that. Well, I would wear it differently and I would be tall! Oh, well...
Then...

I was so inspired I couldn't stop. I've learned how to make the pretty shabby roses, thank you Kathy, so I just had to make a pillow. I used some of the computer transfer paper for fabric and went to town.

My picture didn't transfer as well as it should have, but it will do.

I shabby rosed all over the place! I just love these roses!

Well, lookie here! There is that most gorgeous gal again! :) You know I'm teasing! This is before my most gorgeous full locks had grown out so long. :)
So here are my items for the Bloggerrette Sorority Rush!!

I hope I'm in! I hope I'm in!!
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little
Note Song~Sister
Sister, you've been on my mind
Sister, we're two of a kind
So Sister, I'm keeping my eyes on you
I betcha think I don't know nothin'
But singin' the blues
Oh Sister, have I got news for you
I'm somethin'
I hope you think that you're somethin' too
Scufflin' I been up that lonesome road
And I seen a lot of suns goin' down
Oh, but trust me
No low life's gonna run me around
So let me tell you somethin' Sister
Remember your name
No twister, gonna steal your stuff away
My sister, sho' ain't got a whole lot of time
So shake your shimmy, Sister
'Cause honey this shug is feelin' fine
~from the movie "The Color Purple"
