Hello, Dear Ones! I'm joining our Dear Sally at
Smiling Sally for Blue Monday, our Dear Mary at
Little Red House for Mosaic Monday, our Dear Cielo at
The House in the Roses for Show Off Your Cottage Monday and our Dear Marty at
A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday. Thank you ladies for hosting these fun Monday parties!

I was out playing and ran into one of my favorite thrift shops and look what I found! Precious little boys and girls! I've been redoing my bedroom and I knew these little ones would be so sweet sitting on my dresser! And so they are... :)

Aren't they so sweet? I'm loving seeing their tiny reflections in my dresser mirror, don't you?

Cutie pie little boy playing his tiny Note Songs on his little bitty flute! See? He's already enchanted the little squirrels!

This little young maid is resting a spell and petting her little goat or is that a lamb? You decide! :)

I love this little lad sharing his donuts with his little tiny dog!

Look at his cute little face!

Look at his tiny little doggie! I love this stuff.

Here's another little girl. Isn't she sweet? She's sitting here holding and loving her little lamb. I'm thinking she's sharing the goodies inside her picnic basket with her little lambie pie, don't you?

I'm loving these reflections, I tell you! Can you love little blue figurine reflections? Well, you bet your little shiney nose you can!

Oh, just look at her little hair do and the sweet little lambs face! Precious.

I think I'm in love with my new to me little bitty tiny blue figurines with their little reflections in my mirror. I'm loving this! :)
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little
Note Song~
Little Boy Blue
Little boy blue,
Come blow your horn!
The sheep's in the meadow;
The cow's in the corn
Where is the boy
Who looks after the sheep?
He's under the haystack,
Fast asleep.
Will you wake him?
No, not I,
For if I do,
He's sure to cry.
Very sweet and having the collection of them makes it all the better!

What a cute blue post Shelia. Lovely
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and detailed ... enjoyed seeing the details reflected forward and reverse sides. Of course, mirrors! :) Who made them? Nice colorings. Thanks! and thanks for stopping by my place earlier. Happy Blue Monday! Jenn
ReplyDeletePS I was by the other day and read the bathroom snappers and oak posts. They were great. It is neat that out of catastrophe came those carvings. Very memorable. Unfortunate to see that huge oak base. Makes my heart sink ... but great use of what's left and to keep a memory of them. Enjoyed the mosaics of the snappers. It was fun! Thanks, Jenn
ReplyDeleteHow pretty these are Shelia. I love that they are posed by your mirror so you can see their reflections. This is a perfect Blue Monday post. Enjoy your little sweeties!
ReplyDeleteHi Shelia,

Thank you for your comments on my kitchen. You are so sweet! Your new little figurines are very sweet! I love your narratives about them so much! I can really tell how much you adore them! I love the subtle coloring on them too! They are precious!
ReplyDeleteOh what sweet little lovies -- sharing so nicely. I love their sweet soft colors --- and they've certainly been "adopted" into a loving home! Thanks for your sweet visit tonight to see my "olden" linens -- they just don't make them like they used to. Now that makes ME sound like a golden oldie....guess I am!
ReplyDeleteShelia...they are adorable! Love the soft colors...can't see why you brought them home with you...so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what is more LOVELY, the puppy or the donut. =) Blessings... Polly
ReplyDeleteMy mother had a similar collection of Hummels that I inherited when she passed away. I found that she had named each one - writing their names under their bases. It makes me smile seeing your collection - have you named yours too?

My first thought was itty bitty lladros! They are all so cute but my favorite is the little girl with the *lamb* at her side...because it reminds me so much of my daughter and her love of animals, of course. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat cute little statues! Finding them at a thrift store was an added blessing. They really are adorable.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia

I did visit the blog 'Decor to Adore' and it is an awesome story. I love reading about her struggles and how she was determined to overcome every obstacle. I admire her so much.
Your post about her is a wonderful tribute to her. You are just the best friend.
Last the wood carvings are stunning. Imagine the dedication in carving these terrific figures. I really enjoy seeing them. Thanks Shelia.
It is dinner time so I must cook for my man!!! LOL. He is so good about anything I fix.
