Tablescape Thursday

Hello, Dear Ones! Welcome again to Tablescape Thursday hosted by our Diva of every dish and every tablesetting, Dear Susan at Between Naps on the Porch. Pop in to see her today and you'll be thrilled at all the lovely ways with dishes.

Now, I must admit, I have had such a busy hectic week and didn't have the time to set up a tablescape. I'll spare you the details but I'm sure you've had weeks like this ~ not enough time to get everything done. That's been my tiny week! But I do not like to miss out and since Thursday is one of my favorite days I just had to participate! You don't mind, do you?

Okay, let's pretend...

If I hadn't been the busiest one this week I may have set a Fourth of July table like this in the backyard with tiny little rocks so cleverly holding down the napkins so they wouldn't go blowing off in the wind!

Or, I may have set up a very elegant looking Fourth of July table inside just in case it was too hot! Look at the lovely shade of blue! Oh, if I hadn't been the busiest one this week!

All Fourth of July tables must have a wonderful centerpiece and if I hadn't been the busiest one this week, I just may have done something like this...

...or this...

...or this...

...or maybe something beautiful like this - carnation balls ~ well, that is if I hadn't been the busiest one this week! :(

But of course I would feed you and for dessert I could have fixed you something like this, if I hadn't been the busiest one this week!

After the fun, food and fellowshipping with you all, I might have passed out little flags to celebrate ~ if I hadn't been too busy!

Then we might have all sat out on our front lawn in the chairs with the soft cushy pillows and watched the fireworks! If...
...I hadn't been the busiest one this week! :(

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

God Bless America

God bless America,
Land that I love,
Stand beside her and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above;

From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans white with foam,
God bless America,
My home, sweet home.
God bless America,
My home, sweet home.
~could have been sung by me if I hadn't been the busiest one!
