Oh, Dear Ones! I'm so thrilled you've come to experience another adventure with Stella! After her episode yesterday I asked her what she'd like to do. She said, "I want to go to New York and be in a musical on Broadway!" Well, since I was trying to make up for not being with Stella last week, I told her that's just what we'd do.
Now, you know in Stella's one dimensional world in Blogland we can go anywhere and do anything we'd like and we did! So just humor us, please! ;)

After our whirlwind week, we were heading back home to Texas! At the airport we were escorted to a special room which was set up just for Stella. The mayor and members of the press were there to send her off with their gratitude for all of the love and goodwill she had brought to New York with her from Blogland! She had even helped boost the economy of old New York! Like I've said before ~ Amazing!

Night night Stella and Gally!
Be sure to tune in tomorrow for more adventures with Stella!
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
The Sound of Music
The hills are alive with the sound of music
With songs they have sung for a thousand years
The hills fill my heart with the sound of music
My heart wants to sing every song it hears
My heart wants to beat like the wings of the birds
that rise from the lake to the trees
My heart wants to sigh like a chime that flies
from a church on a breeze
To laugh like a brook when it trips and falls over
stones on its way
To sing through the night like a lark who is learning to pray
I go to the hills when my heart is lonely
I know I will hear what I've heard before
My heart will be blessed with the sound of music
And I'll sing once more
~sung by Stella on Broadway

ReplyDeleteAHHHH, BLOGLAND...THE PLACE OF OUR DREAMS !
Oh My! Do you think Stella could put in a good word for our son the actor from Atlanta? Then we could all meet up in NYC -- I'm sure that Stella and Andy would make a great team!
ReplyDeleteOH WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing STELLA!!!
LOL!!
I know you are thrilled that Stella decided to turn her life around. What a gal! Oh, the memories she will have. The bubble bath I'm sure felt nice, and, of course, it had to help soak off that Henna!

ReplyDeleteOh Sheila,
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I love it! Musicals are my favorite! I used to do amatuer theater with my older girls and I was in Fiddler on the roof and The Sound of Music! It looks like Stella's a Star!
Blessings to you!
Karyn
That is so cute and I love the shows that Stella was in, what a little ham!
ReplyDeleteThe Raggedy Girl
I hope Stella had a front row center seat reserved for her hostess/manager, Miss Shelia!
ReplyDeleteI like Sound of Music best too because Stella could really let her hair down in that role.
I hope you and Stella have your feet up today, you both should go get a massage or something after the week you had.
Hugs Silly Shelia, Bridget
Oh, Show Boat... my FAVORITE Uncle used to sing "Old Man River" to me with his deeeep bass voice. (sigh)

ReplyDeleteKady
Haha did you use faceinhole.com? Stella looks like she's having so much fun LOL.
ReplyDeleteAll the best,

I am enjoying your posts so much. I think Stella makes the perfect Maria in The Sound of Music! I hope her tattoo came off in the bath. She can't possibly come back to England with that on!!!! Just joking. I can hardly keep up with her and certainly can't wait for your next post. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteLindsay

Justiney :o )
Glory Be!!! Stella acts, too!! She must've been so terribly BORED with her lame visit to my house!! Taking her Bass Pro and the recycling center and a wedding shower---all so pitifully blah in comparison to the spectacular time she's had with you and NOW on Broadway!
ReplyDeleteI know she will NEVER forget her debut--please tell her I thought she looked wonderful in every single poster!! OH, and please tell her I'm proud of her and that I always knew she could do whatever she set her mind to!!
Dana :)
This was soooo cute! I love seeing Stella on all of those Broadway posters. Your commentary of your trip was such fun. I do want to ask if Chloe Dawn has felt any jealousy toward the new dog in the house! laurie
ReplyDeleteShelia I would love to be a Diva again! Particularly for my new blog!
ReplyDeleteAmazing talent! Stella is having BIG adventures in your home...her scrapbook is going to be amazing! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is just too funny Shelia! You are such a creative and crazy lady!
