Well, Valentine's Day is almost here and I set my table appropriately for Mr. Precious and me. Just the two of us.
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
My funny valentine
Sweet comic valentine
You make me smile with my heart
Your looks are laughable
Unphotographable
Yet you're my favourite work of art
Is your figure less than greek
Is your mouth a little weak
When you open it to speak
Are you smart?
But don't change a hair for me
Not if you care for me
Stay little valentine stay
Each day is valentines day
Is your figure less than greek
Is your mouth a little weak
When you open it to speak
Are you smart?
But don't you change one hair for me
Not if you care for me
Stay little valentine stay
Each day is valentines day
~sung as a duet by Mr. Precious and me! ;)

Beautiful table Shelia!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day to you!
Beautiful table, as usual. Now, about silverware. I am a YANKEE, and I have always said "silverware" whenever referring to knives, forks, and spoons--even if it's not silver. You Southern gals did not invent this language-thing. Er, unless... I'm REALLY a GAL FROM THE SOUTH.
ReplyDeleteShelia, that tablescape is divine. Very romantic and sweet. I love the key idea too. Beautifully presented and very creative. My Precious is one lucky man so something tell me when he runs away on his morning jogs he runs back home just as quickly. And I love calling it silverware too. Thnaks for your inspiration.
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot to say I also love the way you tie ribbons on the candles. They always look so perfect that way. And dressed up.
ReplyDeleteLove the new art work!
ReplyDeleteI hope you and Mr. Precious enjoy your romantic dinner!
What a beautiful table you prepared...love the chocolate hearts!

LOVE your romantic tablescape, Sheila...and the key...how sweet! I do call my flatware silverware...and I'm not technically from the south although I do believe that I must have made frequent trips there in the middle of the night cuz I sure identify with all you southern belles!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!
;-D

Sheila your valentine table is precious and might I add just like you! Love the key to my heart! Gotta tell someone: I just received at my front door a gorgeous bouquet of red roses!! My sweet DH sent them to me! One of those online things I think, where you get the vase and everything to put together the perfect bouquet! Now I have to admit there's not much of a romantic bone in my sweetheart's body but every once in a while he surprises me! God bless you today! lauralu :)

Hi, I'm new to your blog. I found you on Rue's Peanut Butter & Jelly Life. I love dishes too. In fact, I have the red goblet & wine glass that you put on this post. I love that I can get online and find so many talented and creative women. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteHey Mummy,
ReplyDeleteHow creative and loverly you are. My Precious will be so pleased. Now can you come and help me with my table?
Hugs & Kisses,

Shelia, your Valentine table looks so lovely.
ReplyDeleteI was very sad earlier this week, because somehow, my Valentine Decorations have gotten lost in my move last Sept. Then only thing I could find was my heart table runner. I feel very un-valentine-ish. But after seeing your table, I have decided that I WILL go back to Hobby Lobby and get the red chargers that I thought would look nice under my Christmas China, because they would also look nice under my plain white plates for Valentines day. I can put my vase full of roses in the center and some pink candles in my crystal candlestick holders and things will look a lot more festive.
You have inspired me my friend. Hope you have a GREAT Valentines Day with Mr. Precious!
♥hugs♥
Yum!!Looks beautiful. I will take a piece with me too. Kathy
ReplyDeleteI envy you your glasses and silverware!!! :-) Beautiful table settings!!! I felt like coming over.. that looks really romantic!

ReplyDeleteI have the stemmed red glasses in your tablescape. My Christmas setting is where you'll find them too. My family prefer these to hold their favorite beverage. I think the embossed pattern is what draws their attention.
