I would like to share with you another little set up in my breakfast room. This is a very child-like whimsical setting. So I hope you enjoy it.
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
Santa Claus is Comin' to Town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
You'd better watch out
You'd better not cry
You'd better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
He's making a list
And checking it twice
Gonna find out who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
Oh, you'd better watch out
You'd better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Oh! Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Little tin horns
And little toy drums
Rooty-toot-toot
And rump-a-tum-tum
Curly-haired dolls
That tootle and coo
Elephants, boats and kiddie cars too
Oh! Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town
One more time now..
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Santa Claus is comin' to town

ReplyDeleteI missed you too! As usual your tablescape is adorable. I love how you used those darling little Christmas ornaments around the table. Love the gold ribbon around the glasses too. Thats sooo nice! You are so lucky Mr. Precious said you could use his Santa for a centrepiece.
Just lovely!
have a lovely day.
Judi
Good morning, Shelia! Since I'm a confessed dish addict, of course, I LOVE the Christmas dishes! And Mr. P's car has my heart! Could it get any cuter? Also love the napkins & the foofy bows on the glasses (nice touch!). And of course, LOVE all the ornies! Thanks for sharing your beautiful table! Tar

ReplyDeleteTHIS IS SO PRECIOUS ANS SUCH A JOY TO LOOK AT.I ADORE--------------THOSE CHINA ANS YOUR AWESOME CHRISTMAS TREE NAPKIN HOLDERS...ANN
ReplyDeleteI love the way you've put all the Christmas elements together for one gorgeous table. You know my favorite has to be the little Schnauzer all dressed for the holiday.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of Chloe Dawn and wondering how she did with the flooring wonderfulness going on in her house. I'm sure she was a gracious girl to all the workmen and didn't try to lick their ears when they were down on their hands and knees. :)
Oh my...what cute-ness!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a shrunken, non-moving Chloe Dawn sitting ON the table!!!
I absolutely LOVE the Christmas dishes and your table!! When's Christmas dinner? I'll be there!!! Of course, I'll have to bring Tom, too!! LOL!!!
~Blessings,
Jan
Sheila this is just darling. I love Santa Ho on the table and the miniature of Chloe Dawn is just perfect. I wonder if they make one as a Cocker Spaniel? :-) hugs ~lynne~
ReplyDeleteShelia,
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE this table scape! I wanna do table scape Tuesdays! Urgh, maybe next tuesday? :) Beautiful job, as always!
You cute creative, you--the child like tablescape is a winner. I especially like your idea of the gold wired ribbon wrapping the plain crystal glasses. Now, who else would have thought of that?
ReplyDeleteGM Pickel it all just darling girl...but those gingerbread with Santa would have been screaming my name for sure..Oh I just loved those girl..I loved the Santa in the car..its all beautiful..thanks for sharing...hugs and smiles Gloria
ReplyDeleteHidee Shelia, First off, tell Mr. Precious thank you for letting us see his Santie hoopmobile...and Chloe Dawn's clone is so cute...but most of all, you WRITE the best stories to go with your pics & posts...Love 'em, ;-) Bo
ReplyDeleteMorning Shelia,
ReplyDeleteEvery week I think you have done the best-est tablescape! You are a definite dish-aholic. I LOVE all your gorgeous dishes! I wouldn't have anywhere to put them all. The Santa in the car is wonderful...I LOVE it!
Love the dishes - I don't know if I have ever seen that pattern before. Santa is coming to town - it's getting closer!! Enjoy your day. Sally
ReplyDeleteYou have a 1 in 129 chance to win Susan's giveaway, IF you are registered as a follower. I of course exclude myself because of our familial relationship.
ReplyDeleteI totally adore the napkin ring. I find the colors in the china very restful, not so bright like some Christmas china. The bright colors are introduced through all the various things scattered on the table top. You can determine how bright you want it to be, instead of the china making that decision for you.
It's wonderful, Shelia...yes, I love it all and it's quite alright to love dishes and salt and pepper shakers, etc!! It's also correct to be childlike, even if one is an oldie!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table!
I just realized I didn't respond to a question from you. I was not at the cookie swap. DH doesn't "do" Atlanta traffic and I don't either. In the 20+ years Susan has been in the Atlanta Metro area, we have been up there twice. Both times DH drove in the middle of the night to avoid traffic. She comes South as often as she can manage. She appears to thrive on the big city, it makes me and DH nervous.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Shelia! I love your whimsy table. So much fun. You have collected some great pieces that make a person smile! The dishes are fabulous. Have a wonderful week...
ReplyDeleteHi Shelia, my exams are over, and I popped in to see you! Your Chrismas-scape is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi Shelia! I love it! It's so beautiful I love that it's grown-up china but opens the window to a childs heart at Christmas! Very lovely and the Santa in the car, perfect! Deb
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable dishes! I love them and the Santa in the car is too cute.
ReplyDeleteIf I might ask how do you get the snow coming down on your blog??
Oh Shelia, how pretty!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE those salt and pepper shakers! Yes, you heard me right. I love em!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou still didn't get any snail mail from me? Sigh.
Justine :o )

ReplyDeleteLove Ya,
Chris
OH, Shelia, this is so scrumptious, it's a feast. You have told the most enchanting story in your tablescape. I had to look and look at each detail--and every single one brought a happy smile. The napkin rings were a great find! But the little Chloe Dawn figure stole my heart.
ReplyDeleteWhat a whimsical, beautiful tablescape!
I love your description of the exploding decoration box...I enjoy the use of the decorations used in a non traditional way!

ReplyDeleteLove,
Sue
Glad you are back!! Yippee!
Shelia, What a festive table! Where do I begin....the china is adorable, I can't believe you got those napkin rings at a thrift store, and the cute little schnauzer - you can't go wrong with that (Miles is cuter, too) and your Centerpiece is cute. I bet this would make for a very fun Christmas Dinner! ~ Robyn
ReplyDeleteI just love your table Shelia. The santa in the car is darling!!
ReplyDeleteYou table is really beautiful. I don't know how you can all be so clever and pull together so many treasures and make it all fit together so nicely. I would like to learn how to do this.
ReplyDeleteRoberta Anne
Well, I just love that china! This is such a cute, whimsical tablescape. Good job!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tablescape dear Shelia! I love the Santa centerpiece and his car is so grand! Yep, I'm lovin' this! It's now my all time favorite...those dishes are precious, too!

Hi Shelia,
ReplyDeleteLove all your little sweeties on your table scape! I had to laugh when I say the tree napkin rings. I had made and sold maybe 100... ( my mother has a kiln) Funny thing is I forgot about them, don't know where mine are? LOL
p.s. tried to check out new floors, didn't come up?
xoxo,
Cathleen
Hi Sheila!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Christmas plates! They are beautiful! I have been MIA for a while. Christmas has me sooo busy! I've missed you!
FAB table! ADORE all your figurines!
ReplyDeleteOMG that table setting is so charming. You have so many trinkets and really adorable items there. Your guests will have such a good time and the setting itself is already a conversation piece.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, girlfriend...this is the most adorable, playful, full of charm table that I've ever seen. Just fabulous....your personality shines thru all your postings and I just love that!!!!
ReplyDeletebj
I like your tablescape, the busyness of it has my wheels turning. Something like this would be great for my brunch, I plan to fill the plates and not have the serving bowls on the table. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas Table scape. Yes you can love dishes. I know, because I do. I don't have nearly half what you do. But I love what I got and I sure appreciate the beauty of yours that you share with us. Have a great Christmas.
