Now today I must tell you something...I've cheated! This is not my table, nor my dishes and not even my pumpkin! I didn't have time to put together my own tablescape - so I cheated! I found this wonderful website http://www.crossroadscottage.biz/pages/novembertablescape.php and just borrowed this great fall tablescape to show to you.

I dearly love this little round table. I have a round table in my breakfast room, so this sort of counts. The chairs are different, but that's okay, we're supposed to be looking at the beauties on the top of the table. Oh, but just take a peep at the cute white cabinets in the background.

I'm begging you, please don't be too hard on me for cheating just this once!!
You are all sweeties,
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Your Cheatin' Heart
Your cheatin' heart will make you weep
You'll cry and cry and try to sleep
But slee-eep won't come the whole night through
Your cheatin' heart will tell on you
When tears come down like fallin' rain
You'll toss around and call my name
You'll wa-alk the floor the way I do
Your cheatin' heart will tell on you
Your chea-eatin' heart will pine some day
And crave the love you threw away
The ti-ime will come when you'll be blue
Your cheatin' heart will tell on you
When tears come down like fallin' rain
You'll toss around and call my name
You'll wa-alk the floor the way I do
Your cheatin' heart will tell on you
~ sung by Hank Williams
Ha ha ahahhaa...you are so cute, Sheila!! And, I LOVE this cute tablescape. And, it's ok to 'cheat' with the web ....i do it all the time and the Cheater Police haven't kicked me out of Blogland yet !! ;O)
ReplyDeleteHappy day, sister friend....

Jan
Good Morning Shelia!
ReplyDeleteFrom the cute white cabinets until to the last leaf on the table ... very nice Tablescape.
I like this beautiful, warm colors.
Have a blessing, happy day!
This is a very pretty tablescape Shelia, don't feel guilty!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that tablescape! It looks like something ANYONE could do!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a doll Shelia~ and never fail to bring a smile to my face. :) This table scape is beautiful, I have a cream colored hutch and have been considering paiting my table the same....this gives me some inspiration. Isn't that what tablescape tuesday is all about? I'm cracking up over your cheatin' heart note song today.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Hugs~ J.
That is such a pretty autumn tablescape. It doesn't matter that it isn't yours as I think the point is to share loveliness, which you always do.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay if you "cheated", that tablescape is looking absolutely great!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty table no matter who's house it's in. Now, I will confess, I'm going to steal the pumpkin centerpiece idea...See how we share..LOL
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Chris
Oh the music, I have got to get the CD! I am sure I have that piece somewhere. I can start picking it out on the piano and have it down in a few days, but then my family will be sick of it... No they won't, DD has hymn Festival Sat and all we listen to is her music for that competition! LOL! I have to play something to off set that. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHoney, you go ahead and cheat away. Your table scape is beautiful, but I'm with you. Needs flatware and food! I mean, what is Chole Dawn & Mr. Precious going to eat!
Shelia, I agree with bj. You are too cute. When I read your posts I just break out in a big smile.
ReplyDeleteNo this tablescape is not cheating. You found this and it has good ideas and in fact you would have done it better. Without doubt.
Sounds like Mr Precious is sensible, he likes a tablescape with cutlery. Its always good to have a practical man by your side isnt it? He he. Does he read your blog too? Love visiting you and ahhhh that lovely music again!! Have a great day! Thanks for being just too gorgeous for words!
Good Morning Sheila!
ReplyDeleteYour tablescape is beautiful..I love the bow on the pumpkin! :) I think you & Mr. Precious should just dig in without utensils today! LOL
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Kathi :)
This is just too cute for words...even if you did "borrow" it..lol.. Thanks so much for swinging by.. I truly miss each and everyone of you..hope to be back to a normal schedule soon..
ReplyDeletehugs ~lynne~
Oh Shelia...you naughty, naughty girl...cheating..tsk-tsk! Just kidding...I always enjoy the humor you put into your posts and nobody does it better! FUN! ;-) Bo
ReplyDeleteShelia how could anyone be mad at you? You always bring a smile to my face everytime I visit!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this pretty tablescape!
I like this table with two exceptions. No to plastic and no to sticks anywhere around my food, presuming that food and eating implements will be forthcoming. You presented it well, and I sigh a sigh of relief at the discovery that you're not perfect. (sigh)
ReplyDeleteThat's not cheating - that's using your head for inspiration! And you always give me inspiration. Thanks. Sally
ReplyDeleteCheater, cheater!!!! I think that pumpkin with the ribbon is the cutest! In fact...you may see that again REAL soon!
ReplyDeleteGirl I can't believe you cheated haha!! wished I thought of that..Have a great day you silly thing..Hugs and smiles Gloria
ReplyDeleteYou are such a hoot! Cute table & I don't care who's it is! ;o)
ReplyDeleteWell that was very clever of you! Wise use of resources! : )
ReplyDelete~Liz~
Oh girl this is so pretty..I don't care where you stole..uh I mean borrowed it from...I will have to visit that site for sure...I loved this girl! have a great Tuesday!!!!
ReplyDeleteyour cheating looks pretty darn good to me! I love your little round table and the way you put this tabletop together. Blessings...
ReplyDeleteNow how cute is that! I love the nests as placecard holders. It's all adorable...Kathy
ReplyDeleteNo need to feel guilty-you found a beautiful table! I think that should count for something :)
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin is adorable-and what an easy and quick idea!
Heck that isn't really cheating...I would have never seen it if you had not "borrowed" it so thanks for that. t is pretty cute.
ReplyDeleteYou are a Sweetie! Hugs, Bridget
Thanks for sharing the great tablescape you found! It is beautiful and fun to get ideas off of!
ReplyDeleteLove the song, too...thanks for the chuckle!!
Hi Shelia
ReplyDeleteI'm in Diane's "Trash To Treasure" challenge today but I droppped by to say hello, and I have to say I love this tablescape too! I wish I had white furniture like that and the pumpkin idea is charming --I think I'll do that for Tahnksgiving Day.
Hugs, Pat
Sheila I am so glad you have a tiny bit of a 'cheatin' heart today. We need to give ourselves a break and more often than not. Posting everyday is a stressful thing at times. The tablescape is cute as can be but lets be real. Do we want to eat a birds nest. I do realize it is a name thingy but it could reside on the table couldn't it? smiling. And you are right, where is the silverware? Maybe we will have finger food. I like finger food. Let's try to be fair here. LOL.
ReplyDeleteLove your post and your song dear one.
Hugs...Jeanne
Oh my little sweetie Sheila... I LOVED this tablescape... so simple, so natural, so rustic, so delightful... Thanks so much...
ReplyDelete(((HUGS)))
Donna
Not a cop out at all my dear! That's the problem, everyone I know has already received all the awards. You have to get up pretty early in the morning to be the first giver of the award and I was off sitting in the Hawaii sun so I missed that boat! I just wanted you to know that you are very deserving.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Bridget
Your song choice for this post is making me giggle..and it's a cute table..plastic and all...but I AIN'T eatin no sticks!! I don't care how cute the table is set!
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila, Looks beautiful any way you slice it. Great post! ~Warmly, Melissa
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your interpretation of each detail in the table setting...and it is so much fun to see how you interjected how your own pieces were represented in the various aspects of the setting!
ReplyDeleteWhether it is your table or not, I love it. I would love something like that on my table for Thanksgiving. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures.
ReplyDeletetake care,
Dawn
Oh my, you are very bad...LOL!! The table looks lovely though.
ReplyDeleteAnd you always put a smile on my face when I see your default picture. Thank You! ; )
I'm so glad you "cheated", or I would never have seen this darling tablescape. I love the simple idea of the bow around the pumpkin! What a simple way to make a big splash! laurie
ReplyDeleteI'm with Laurie, I'm glad you cheated too. I love the bow around the pumpkin. I'm with you on the bird's nests, looks like they would crumble all in the plate and the guests would be eating wood crumbs! He He. I do like the tablescape though, it's very pretty! Kristen
ReplyDeleteYour cheatin' heart didn't tell on you, you told on yourself. But then, I think our hearts always tell on us in the end. It is what makes us do the "right" thing.
ReplyDeleteYou "borrowed" something that shows real taste. The leaves on the plate are in good keeping with a Fall theme. The green bread and butter plate coordinates really well. Congrats on what you chose to "borrow".
Sheila, You did a great job finding this wonderful tablescape! LOL! It is beautiful and provided lots of inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHope your week is going well so far! ~Rhonda :)
A cheater and a fallen woman! Goodness me! Whatever does Mr. Precious think of that? lol
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you "cheated" because this is a lovely table! And you're right, we could do so much of this! I like looking at arrangements that I could easily copy. Thanks for sharing!
Kady
AH ! who cares if you cheated Sheila. Sh-h-h-h we won't tell too many. It's a cute table to look at anyway.
ReplyDeleteShelia, you crack me up, girl! I am stealing this idea of ribbon around the pumpkin...that's sooo cute! And the twig place card holders...very clever. I'm with you though on the lack of flatware...what's up with that. I just saw twig placemats and twig flatware on a blog...they would be perfect with this! :-) Great post, as always! Susan
ReplyDeleteHi Glenda! Well, I know I told on myself! I just tried to find an appropriate song!! I'm always a silly.
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi Sheila...I just love the way you decorated your plates. What a unique and original idea. :)
ReplyDelete*hugs*
I want to have a light lunch at the table and savor a cup of tea after with some great warm chocolate chip cookies..WOW! thats one of my goals this year--to continue to learn to set wonderful tables to enjoy our meals.
ReplyDeleteI love this tablescape, but I agree about the birdsnest...although it's pretty w/ it!
