Good morning! Since I'm new to Blogland, I thought I would show you around my neighborhood a bit. If you love old homes I think you'll like the tour. Ok, hop in and be sure to fasten your seat belts! Ready? We'll stop for some breakfast treats and then we'll be on our way!
This little shotgun house just proves 'home is what you make of it!"
Well, that's the end of our homes tour today. We may do this again another time. I had fun and hope you did, too!
Oh, my goodness! Chloe Dawn, are you just tuckered out, sweetie?
We'll just let her sleep and I'll send you home with a Note Song ~
It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood...
...a beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Be a bunch of sweeties
Shelia
Hi Sheila -
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you stopped by my blog and said hi. Your new blog is so nice. I just gasped outloud when I saw these homes. They are fantastic! I wish I lived close enough to stop by and visit you before we walk through the neighborhood together. I'll be back soon to see what you have to share.
~Adrienne~
Hi Shelia, welcome to blogland! I found you through a comment you left at Mary's Little Red House. Mary is just fabulous isn't she! Anyway, I just wanted to pop over to wish you lots of fun with your new blog and to tell you that I really enjoyed your post. The tour was fantastic, you live in such a beautiful part of the world! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Shelia, you will love it here. On RMS I would type out this long comment onlky to have it go null. That allways drove me nuts, Here I can say what I want to ,it may not be spelled right but I am not by myself. The homes are beautiful. I have painted a couple but not as nice as these.I adore the old southern charm of these homes. Would love to see inside of some, but I can imagine how lovely they are. Welcom to blogland girl. Kathy
ReplyDeleteHi, Sheila, welcome to blogging & thank you so much for your sweet comments. Glad you are joining in, you'll love it as much as I have, I'm sure. I loved the tour of your neighborhood. What gorgeous houses, love those historical homes.
ReplyDeleteSweet puppy too. Looking forward to getting to know you more!
Rhoda
Hey, Sheila, about the date. When you click on Edit the post, there's a little thing at the bottom that says Post Options, click on that & a date & time box will be there, enter the date & time you'd like to post & then click publish. It's easy! You can tell it whatever time & date you'd like.
ReplyDeleteFeel free to ask more questions. I had a million of them when I first started.
Rhoda
Good Morning Mommy! Love the homes. I feel like I am walking around touring with you. It's so nice to see all the lovely ice cream colors. Have a wonderful day and have fun blogging.
ReplyDeleteHave you noticed one of my commentor's name is 'itsy'? That is my daughter and she's just moved back to the states from being abroad for two years! I just had to tell you that! I was overjoyed when I saw the little name 'itsy'. We called her that even before she was born and it stuck. Be a bunch of sweeties! ;)Shelia
ReplyDeleteYes! Now I can comment! I am one of those people who like to leave comments. After all, if you just "read and run" it's like "eat and run!" Anyway, truly enjoyed the tour. And I welcome you to the wonderful world of Blogland! You will so enjoy yourself.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Hi Sheila! I found you at Bridget's blog and came over here to help you out with posting at the time you wanted it to say, but it looks like Rhoda has already explained it to ya! Isn't blogging a blast? I'm lovin' it!
ReplyDeleteJustine :o )
Ooh, I'm such an idiot! First, I left a comment before reading anything on your blog, then I called you the wrong name. THEN I realized, "OMG, it's POO!!!!!!!!!!!" Hello Poo, and welcome to Blogland!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou and your hubby are absolutely adorable, and now I'm off to take a tour of your neighborhood!
Justine :o )
I wanted to come give you the 411 on how to change the date on your post. At the bottom of the window where you enter your text, there is a little arrow and it says "Post Options" click on that and then you can change the date and time. If you type a future date and time, it will automatically post it for you at that time. You can have tomorrow's post ready and go to bed and it will post it for you when you want it posted.
ReplyDeleteI hope that all makes sense.
Hello there!
ReplyDeleteLoved the tour of the old homes, We have some here in Trinidad and they are considered national treasures! Welcome to Blogland!!

Hi, Sheila!
ReplyDeleteI decided to go back to your first posts and see how all this sweetness started!Your writing style is so natural and flows so well with your photos, I wanted to see if it started out that way, and it DID! Have you considered getting in on the Secret is in the Sauce or some other group that features fun blogs by women? You'd meet a lot of great people, and more importantly, they'd meet YOU, which would really enrich their lives, I think!
