My Backyard

Hello, Dear Ones! I hope you enjoyed visiting my past blogging days with Stella the Blogland paper doll. That was fun to look back at all of the silly fun I had with her.

Anyway, I hope you're all doing well and continuing to take care of yourselves. We are going to the grocery store now in our masks. I was so brave today and went to Hobby Lobby! Oh, I loved it! Everyone was courteous and keeping their space. I realized how much I've missed getting out by myself. I've got to watch myself as it makes me want to go to more places but I'm going to be good and wait a little.

Oh, one more little cute thing to tell you. One of our neighbors little girl had a birthday parade come through our cul de sac today! It was so sweet. All of the cars were decorated with balloons and streamers and posters hanging off the doors. The little girls were hanging out the windows and poking their tiny little heads out of the sun domes yelling out birthday wishes to their little friend! When I headed out to go to Hobby Lobby I saw the little birthday girl in her yard, rolled down my window and wished her a happy 6th birthday! Folks are getting very creative on how to live life.

Well, now I will get down to the nitty gritty of my post today. We are going to go into my back yard. The weather is getting pretty warm and the past few days we've really had some big thunderstorms and rain! But today was bright enough to take a few snaps for you to see what I've been doing

This is what you see when you walk out of my back door - this lovely big ole oak tree! We really do have a very small yard and we like it that way and we've been slowing trying to plant things in the year we've lived here.
I always have kept this picture as this is what the back yard looked like when we bought our home. No grass, just dirt! Y'all, that was so nasty! We had sod laid down and I worked on the flower bed under the oak tree. We've been planting and so far everything is growing in nicely.
I dug up some of the ornamental grass from the front yard and planted it back here last year. I guess I'm kinda a gawdy kind of decorating gal too as I have windchimes all hung up on the limbs of the tree. If you look at the fence I've got some little bird houses hung up there and in the one on the left side - there's some itty bitty birdies in there! Those white boxes are some solar lights we found at Costco and they put off a soft white glow at night.

Some of the plants are Red Sisters (the two red leafed plants against the fence), some 'ears', two ginger plants, one croton and some coleus. Speaking of coleus, did you know if you break off one of the little stems and stick it in the dirt it will grow? I found out that works when I accidentally stepped on one and broke a little stem off. Yay! free plants!
Here's a closer peep at my big old flower bed. It's mostly in the shade so I had to plant accordingly. It does get some morning sun on this side. It sure is fun though watching it grow and poking more plants in.
Oh, and here is my sweet potato vine! I love this plant. It's sitting in a pot which is sitting on a big ole stump of a crape myrtle that Mr. Precious chopped down last year. Uh oh! I see someone has been eating lunch here.
This is looking back up to the back door which walks into the breakfastroom/kitchen. Oh, I'm a bit saddened. You see that wicker? Well...that is the wicker I always had in my past two sunrooms. I don't have a sunroom anymore and they sit out here in the elements of weather! I'm bad as they are slowly dying! Nothing I can do about it since we don't have a roof over our little deck just a little eave. You win a little and you loose a little.
Here I am in all of my masked glory about two weeks ago when we went to Buc-cee's! It's a great place for fudge!! and gas and other things. Buc-cee was all makes up too.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Green Green Grass of Home (not to be morbid - but I love this song and love Tom Jones)

The old home town looks the same
As I step down from the train,
And there to meet me is my Mama and Papa.

Down the road I look and there runs Mary,
Hair of gold and lips like cherries.
It's good to touch the green, green grass of home.

Yes, they'll all come to meet me,
Arms reaching, smiling sweetly.
It's good to touch the green, green, grass of home.

The old house is still standing,
Though the paint is cracked and dry,
And there's that old oak tree that I used to play on.

Down the lane I walk with my sweet Mary,
Hair of gold and lips like cherries.
It's good to touch the green, green grass of home.

Then I awake and look around me
At four grey walls that surround me,
And I realize: yes, I was only dreaming.

For there's a guard and there's a sad old padre.
On in on we'll walk at daybreak.
Then again I'll touch the green, green grass of home.

Yes, they'll all come to see me
In the shade of that old oak tree
As they lay me neath the green, green grass of home.

Bye Bye Stella!

Hello, Dear Ones. Well, if you've stayed with me this long you know all about dear Stella and her adventures with me and this is where we'll say goodbye to Stella. Enjoy...

Hello, Dear Ones! I have a lot to say today and I'm hoping you will stay with me.

Bye Stella! :(

First of all I'm having to say goodbye to Stella today. I'm very sad and heartbroken but I know she'll always have a little place in my heart and hopefully I will in hers! The idea of Stitching Stella (this is her true name I've just been calling her the Aida Cloth Paper Doll of Blogland) was thought up by Lindsay-ann and Lorrie! This is just the cutest idea! She's been traveling all over Blogland and in December of this year will go back to England! If you'd like to follow her adventures, please go to Lindsay-ann's or Lorrie's blog and catch up on Stella.

Here is Stella almost ready to go. She has her passport ready. I will write a page in her passport book about her adventures in Galveston.

Now when she leaves a destination, her hostess is to add something to her dress. Well, if you've been following her adventure with me, you know she sneaked off and got a Henna tattoo! I just couldn't let that pass and decided to put a sweet sparkly tatto heart on her shoulder for a reminder.
Here's a close up!
Not to worry, with her pretty long hair and the strap from her purse, it's covered very nicely! But we'll all know it's there, won't we? :)
Another addition I'm sending along with Stella is Gally, the little dog she picked out in the pet store. Gally has been constantly at Stella's side and just had to go along with her.
Look at that cute little fuzzy face!
Also, I could not let Stella go off without a souvenir from her Broadway musicals, so she's taking her own Playbills from her performances.

Oh, I must tell you...this Playbill will really be valuable someday! It has a mistake on it! We had to get the info out in such a short amount of time that there's a typo! Stella did seven performances - Monday thru Sunday and this says...Mon. - Fri. Wow! I wonder how much we could get for this one on Ebay? Well, hopefully Stella will keep hers.
Bye bye Stella and Gally! I'll miss you so much! Who's going to help me Tablescape and Foodie Friday? Who will sing me songs in the evenings? Well, I guess she'll just have to take these marvelous skills of hers to her next destination!

Where is Stella going next? She's headed to Ohio to visit Kady at Life On The Edge! So make sure you go vist Kady to see what our darling Stella will be doing next!

Bye Stella...sniff sniff (Chloe Dawn is doing the puppy happy dance now! She was so jealous of Stella and Gally! ) .

I hope you've enjoyed these olden blog posts. I was just thinking of how fun this was and I hate to say this but those of you who haven't been blogging long have missed such a special time we all had in the olden days. I think all of the blogs I've mentioned except Susan at Between Naps on the Porch have stopped blogging. Thanks for sticking with me and I hope you've enjoyed seeing Stella and of course my silliness. I guess that's still around! :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~I love this song :)

Circle of Friends

We were made to love and be loved
But the price this world demands
Will cost you far too much
Spent so many lonely years just tryin' to fit in
Now I've found my place
In this circle of friends

In a circle of friends
We have one Father
In a circle of friends
We share this prayer
That every orphan soul will know
And all will enter in
To the shelter of this circle of friends

If you weep, I will weep with you
If you sing for joy the rest of us
Will lift our voices too
But no matter what you feel inside
There's no need to pretend
That's that way it is in this circle of friends

In a circle of friends
We have one Father
In a circle of friends
We share this prayer
That we'll gather together
No matter how the highway bends
I will not lose this circle of friends

Among the nations, tribes, and tongues
We have sisters and brothers
And when we meet in Heaven
We will recognize each other
With joy so deep (joy so deep)
And love so sweet (love so sweet)
We'll celebrate these friends
And life that never ends

In a circle of friends
We have one Father
In a circle of friends
We share this prayer
That it will not be long
Before all will enter in
To the shelter of this circle of friends

That it will not be long
Before all will enter in
To the shelter of this circle of friends

Circle of friends...

Foodie Friday with Stella

Hello, Dear's another Stella post. I promise we're getting close to sending her off!

Hello, Dear Ones and welcome to Foodie Friday. This most fabulous event is always hosted by our ever so famous and wonderful Gollum, Micheal Lee, at Designs by Gollum.

Well, most of you know I have a visitor ~ The Most Amazing Stella, our Aida Cloth Paper doll of Blogland! She is a hand full as well as a hoot! She's also very helpful and a very loving little gal!
Needless to say, she has been helping me out tremendously in the kitchen. She's very into the Memes and had to DO Foodie Friday for my post!

So this is Stella's Foodie Friday...

Here is our little Darling, along with her constant companion, Gally, in my kitchen. She has been going through my recipes to find out exactly what she would fix for this post. See, she has her little recipes all picked out! Wonder what she'll cook? Inquiring minds want to know! ;)
Oh, Stella told me she could not cook without her apron and chef's hat on. So I scrambled around until I found just the perfect ensemble for her. She posed and I snapped! Oh, my goodness! Do you see who had to get into the picture ~ Gally! Look at that little silly standing on top on the counter! Get down, Gally! She's peeping around the fridge thinking I won't see her!
I do believe our Stella knows her way around the kitchen! Let's see here, veggies, tomato sauce, garlic and cheeses...sounds like Italian to me or it could be Mexican. Hmmmm...I'll guess I'll have to wait and see. Gally! That little stinker is eating an entire bowl of fruit! Oh, my goodness! She'll definitely have to wear a diaper to bed tonight if you know what I mean! :) or if you get my drift! Oh, no no Nannette! Let's not even go there! :)
While Stella was putting the finishing touches on everything, Gally went outside and started to set the table. She is such a wonderful little helper. Isn't it amazing how my backyard all of a sudden looks like Italy or the south of France? :) Look how lovely the patio table looks! See the lovely centerpiece - well, sidepiece, filled with fresh flowers from my garden of course! :) OH, and look at the way she's adorned the vase with grapes and ribbons. She's good!

Oh, and our Most Marvelous Stella has even dressed for the occasion ~ a lovely pink strapless dress and a hat. Oh, I don't guess anyone told her you're not supposed to wear hats after 4:00 pm. I wonder if our Miss Janice is reading this? She'll give Stella demerits, I just know it! I'll just let it pass since she went to so much trouble to please me! And that silly little Gally! She's put on her little bib so she won't get sauce all over her! That's a little precious fuzzy face! Speaking of fuzzy faces, where's my little Chloe Dawn? She is hiding! Ever since Stella has been here, Chloe Dawn has been so jealous. She won't play with Stella or Gally. My goodness!

Okay, let's see what our Most Wonderful One has prepared for our dinner. I see a nice little pasta salad, grilled eggplant Parmesan and herb crusted tenderloin and chicken with wild rice on the side. Yes, I was correct! We're having Italian food! Yummy! Mr. Precious...dinner is served!

Well, now the reality of cooking a big ole meal has kicked in! Dirty dishes! But our gal Stella is up to the challenge of making my kitchen shine again, of course with a little help from Gally! Stella did make quite a mess of things...sauce is all over the place...on her, Gally (the bib didn't work very well, I guess) and my cabinets! "Okay, okay, Stella, I'll go to the den and watch "Cops" and you can clean up! Tell Gally to get down from the windowsill!" What is a Blogland hostess Mommy to do? :)

Be sure to come back Monday and I'll share with you where our dear Stella is going next!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :) , Stella and Gally

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Tablescape Thursday With Stella

Hello, Dear Ones! Hope you're still with me as here is another blast from the past with Stella...

Hello, Dear Ones and welcome to Tablescape Thursday hosted by our Most Wonderful Dishaholic Diva Susan at Between Naps on the Porch! After viewing my post today, please go see her and you'll be amazed at all of the dishaholics in Blogland and how they can set gorgeous tables!

Well, if you follow my blog you know I have a little guest ~ Stella! She has had so many adventures and now she says she wants to stay at home and be domestic! Praise God!

She saw me looking at my dishes and trying to decide what kind of tablescape I would have today. She asked if she could try tablescaping and I told her to go to town!
Well, she took a little time and read through some of my tablescaping books and she felt so confident! Look at that smile on her tiny face!
She asked if I would take her and Gally's picture in my dining room. She wants to start a scrapbook of all her adventures in Blogland when she returns home to England! She and Gally smiled and I snapped! She asked me to go watch "Cops" on the television because she wanted to surprise me! I did exactly as she asked. :) She put on a little apron and left me in front of the TV so she could go do her tablescaping.
I knew she was going through my dishes and linens. I heard drawers opening and closing, the tinkling of glasses and silverware, well, flatware! :) She was deciding what to do! I just could hardly wait to see how she would set the table!
I noticed she and Gally were taking things outside to the back yard. I wanted to look but I didn't. Gally was just talking her little tiny head off to Stella! I couldn't make out what they were saying exactly but I think I heard the word 'picnic'! And look what these two little darlings did! They set up a wonderful spread out under the trees with food and everything! She had picked out one of my tablecloths which was spread over a quilt so our bums would sit on softness! She had picked out the cutest little pink plates with green glasses. We just sat right down and had a lovely conversation and I ate some watermelon.
Then she told me to go back inside. She wanted to put together another tablescape. Okay, this is beginning to get fun! Look what she did this time! She set the patio table with a red and white checkered cloth and brought out a tea pot with a matching water pitcher filled with flowers! She had sat the table with silver pieces holding bread, scones and muffins. She had tucked just the right amount of flowers between the dishes! Oh, it was lovely, don't you think? That little Gally had cream on her mouth!
Stella asked me, "Please, Shelia, can I do another one?" I told to to knock herself out, well, I meant to go ahead! Still outside, she used some burlap material for the table cloth, white paper plates and some lovely sunflowers, my fauxs of course and some pretty little yellow napkins. She was using plastic utensils, because we were outside again and held them together with a little plastic clothespin! But the most creative things were her place cards. She used lemons and took out a black Sharpie and wrote everyone's name on them. Isn't that wonderful? And she has the most lovely handwriting, doesn't she? Gally! What are you drinking? Where did you get that? Oh this little fuzzy face is a sneaky little one, don't you think? Now put that drink down!
Stella asked if she could just put together just one more tablescape. I told her, yes, please! I'm having a great time! So this time she and Gally came back into the house to the dining room. Well, actually she sent Gally into the kitchen to wash the dishes while she rummaged through more linens and dishes. She called me in and let me tell you, Dear Ones, the table was so lovely! She had put on my white linen table cloth (she said she had ironed it, too), white napkins, fine white china with 18 karat gold rims, crystal glasses and some of my silverware. Oh, how pretty this was! She had driven to the store ( I know, I let her drive some) and bought these lovely flowers which she arranged all by herself for the centerpiece! Gally just peeked in through the door because her little paws were soaking wet from washing all of the dishes from the previous tablescapes. This tablescape was so nice we decided to leave it and have dinner right here in the dining room when Mr. Precious came home from work.
Oh, my goodness, Dear Ones! What a fun day I've had with Stella and Gally! I went to take a tiny nap and Stella made herself a pot of tea, she is from England you know, and Gally was waiting patiently for a scone. I don't have a clue who's living room she and Gally are in, but it certainly is pretty, isn't it? ;)

Hope you've enjoyed Tablescaping with Stella! Now don't forget to go to visit our Dear Susan!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

I'm A Woman

I can wash out forty-four pairs of socks
And have them hangin out on the line
I can starch and iron two dozen shirts
Before you can count from one to nine
I can scoop up a great big dipper
Full of lard from the drippin's can
Throw it in the skillet, go out and do my
Shopping and be back before it melts in the pan
'Cause I'm a woman
Double U O M A N
I'll say it again
I can rub and scrub till this old house
Is shinin like a dime
Feed the baby, grease the car and
Powder my face at the same time
Get all dressed up, go out and swing
Till four a.m. and then
Lay down at five, jump up at six
And start all over again
'Cause I'm a woman
Double U O M A N
I'll say it again
If you come to me sickly, you know
I'm gonna make you well
If you come to me hexed up,
You know I'm gonna break the spell
If you come to me hungry,
You know I'm gonna fill you full o' grits
If it's lovin' you're lackin', I'll kiss you
And give you the shiverin' fits
'Cause I'm a woman
Double U O M A N
I'll say it again
I can stretch a greenback dollar bill
From here to kingdom come
I can play the numbers, pay my bills
And still end up with some
I got a twenty dollar gold piece says
There ain't nothin I can't do
I can make a dress out of a feed bag
And I can make a man out of you
'Cause I'm a woman
Double U O M A N
I'll say it again
'Cause I'm a woman
Double U O M A N
And that's all

Amazing Theatrical Musical Stella

Hello, Dear Ones. Here's another Stella post from May, 2009 - enjoy...

Oh, Dear Ones! I'm so thrilled you've come to experience another adventure with Stella! After her episode yesterday I asked her what she'd like to do. She said, "I want to go to New York and be in a musical on Broadway!" Well, since I was trying to make up for not being with Stella last week, I told her that's just what we'd do.

Now, you know in Stella's one dimensional world in Blogland we can go anywhere and do anything we'd like and we did! So just humor us, please! ;)

I had spread the word ahead of time so when we arrived in New York we were greeted by the mayor and the press was everywhere! She was just thrilled to death. We were taken by limo to the fabulous Ritz-Carlton Hotel and given a suite overlooking Central Park! Oh, how grand!
Stella decided she would have one night showings only! So we really had to hustle to have all the information out! It's amazing what can be done these days. They called in actors and actresses who looked just like the olden ones in every one of these movie musicals! Amazing isn't it?
Now, Stella performed in the top seven favorite musicals of all time! That's show an evening! She was just marvelous! Did you know she could act? Did you know she could sing and dance? My head was spinning as I watched her cast her spell on everyone around her! She would attend the rehearsals in the afternoons, come back to the hotel for a tiny nap and then was driven back to the theater in the evening. We had a late dinner each evening in Manhattan after the shows.
Each show was a sell out! Everyone was there! The Theater District was a buzz with talk of the wonderfully talented Stella! All the theaters went dark for this week except where Stella performed ~ they did it just for Stella! Everyone wanted to come and see the performance of Stella the Aida Paperdoll of Blogland! Yes, they did!
Oh, our Stella acted, sang and danced her little heart out! Her picture was on the rolling marque in Times Square! As you walked down the street you could read every one's lips...they were all talking about this wonderful Stella! She was a marvel!
Her last performance was "The Sound of Music" and this was my favorite. She looked so lovely and the set really did look like Austria! Just look at her! I was so proud of her, too! I wish I had had the time to get the message out to all of you so maybe some of you could have come to see her. There's never been a happening like this before on Broadway, ever! Seven musicals ~ one on each separate night of the week!

The New York Times had a picture of our Stella on the front page every morning! The critics had nothing but wonderfulness to say about her! The revues of each musical were outstanding. No one had ever starred in these roles and brought in the crowds like our Stella. Tickets were even sold for the rehearsals so everyone could come and see our Stella! Oh, what a week!

After our whirlwind week, we were heading back home to Texas! At the airport we were escorted to a special room which was set up just for Stella. The mayor and members of the press were there to send her off with their gratitude for all of the love and goodwill she had brought to New York with her from Blogland! She had even helped boost the economy of old New York! Like I've said before ~ Amazing!

As soon as we walked in the door at home, we dropped our suitcases and gifts. I was greeted with hugs and kisses from Mr. Precious and Chloe Dawn. Stella was greeted by hugs and kisses from Gally! After a light dinner, Stella said she just wanted to soak in a nice hot bubble bath until she turned into a prune! We gals know what she meant! As I went off to bed, I could hear her softly singing the songs from the musicals to Gally! Now all was right with the world again!

Night night Stella and Gally!

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for more adventures with Stella!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

The Sound of Music

The hills are alive with the sound of music
With songs they have sung for a thousand years
The hills fill my heart with the sound of music
My heart wants to sing every song it hears

My heart wants to beat like the wings of the birds
that rise from the lake to the trees
My heart wants to sigh like a chime that flies
from a church on a breeze
To laugh like a brook when it trips and falls over
stones on its way
To sing through the night like a lark who is learning to pray

I go to the hills when my heart is lonely
I know I will hear what I've heard before
My heart will be blessed with the sound of music
And I'll sing once more

Stella, The Wild One!

Hello, Dear Ones here is the second Stella post from May, 2009...

I truly hope you'll like me after this post! First of all I want you to know every bit of this was my fault! That's right ~ MY FAULT! You see, when Stella came to my house I didn't realize in two days we would be so busy moving my Mother to her little apartment in the retirement home. I neglected her, I put my Mother first and then the trouble started!

Okay, sit down, Dear Ones, and I'll paint you the ugly story.

For a week after Stella arrived I was up early and started packing the car with Mother's things and worked over at her apartment until night time trying to get her settled. I told Stella I was so sorry, but I was going to have to be busy and she and I would have our special time together the next week. Stella said she understood and it would be okay! I felt so relieved!

So each morning I left her like this! She said she loved to watch American TV and she would be fine. When I can home each evening, there she was still watching TV. We talked a bit while I made dinner and she would tell me what she did for the day.

She played in my faux flowers a bit.
Rode my exercise bike.
Played with my figurines.
And had tea every afternoon. She's English, you know.

What I didn't know was just about to shock the socks off me! Well, I don't wear socks, but it shocked the nail polish right off my little dainty toes!

Stella got bored while I was away. Chloe Dawn was so jealous of her, she wouldn't play with her. Stella was tired of watching TV so she started taking walks and ended up on the seawall and that's where the trouble began!
She saw a tatoo parlor and went in! Oh, no! Don't do it Stella! I would have said that if I'd know. Well, Dear Ones, she just went right on in and came out with a tattoo on her shoulder!
She loved the sea, well it's the gulf of Mexico, but we'll call it the sea! She saw all the surfers out and thought she'd try it too! She had some of her own money and went and rented a surf board. That's not all she did with her money ~ she bought a bikini! Oh, my goodness! Stella! Put your clothes on! That's what I would have said had I known! :(
I found these pictures on my computer! Seems she met up with some surfer dudes who were ever so willing to teach her to surf and they were always taking pictures. She had given them my email address and would sneak up before I got up and open her emails. She had even made her own folder for her pictures. She was sneaky but still a little naive. I found all of these pictures after all this horribleness was over! Look at her feet! She has flowers all tucked in between her toes!
There she is in all of her Aida cloth paper doll gloriness in just her bikini surfing! She learned to surf and was having a ball! Her tattoo was just a shining! Oh, my Lord! I would have had a heart attack if I'd know this!
She even managed to meet up with the right surfer crowd and got her picture taken with them for a surfer's magazine. They paid her! She told them she was older than she was! Bad little Stella!

Each day while I was moving Mother, Stella was hitting the beach! I didn't have a clue anything was going on. She was just so calm when I came home and the house was so nice. Well, it should have been, she wasn't there all day! I should have realized she was getting a suntan! But it didn't even dawn on me!

Then at 3:30 in the morning the phone rang! It was the police and they had arrested Stella! I couldn't believe what I was hearing! What? No, Stella's in bed asleep! You must be mistaken! No, No Nannette, they said - we have her and we've put her in jail!

Jail? What? Well, needless to say, Mr. Precious and I jumped in our clothes and off we went to bail Stella out of jail.
When we got there the officer explained he had pulled Stella over driving too fast! Driving? What? Yes, driving a car too fast! She later told me one of the surfer dudes was teaching her to drive and she was sneaking out at night after we'd gone to sleep! When she couldn't prove to the police officer she was 18, she is certainly not 18, and she didn't have a driver's license or any ID and told them she was visiting from England, the police officer thought it all sounded so fishy! So just like the TV show "Cops" which Stella loved to watch, they handcuffed her, put her in the police car and took her straight to jail!
This is how we found her ~ behind bars! Oh, Stella darling! How could you? Well, I take all the blame. I should have been there for her and I wasn't! We bailed her out of jail and put her in the car and drove back home. Praise God she didn't have on that bikini!
When we got home I took her up to the bedroom she was staying in and shut the door so we could have a talk. She was crying her little heart out and so was I! I told her to start from the beginning and tell me what had been going on. Well, she did just that! She told me the tattoo would wear away ~ it was a henna tattoo! Oh I was glad to hear that! She told me she just loved the water and had been watching the Sports channel and just knew she could learn to surf! She continued to tell me the surfer dudes knew she was young and were looking out for her and besides, they liked her accent! Kinda of a Gidget story, don't you think? She told me she would give me the money she earned from the surfer mag picture. I told her to keep it because I had a plan. Now the driving and sneaking out at night was a very bad thing to do, I told her, and she promised never to do it again. I apologized to her and told her it was really all my fault because I had neglected her! We hugged, cried some more and then I tucked her in vowing I'd be a better Blogger hostess to Stella!

Next morning, after we had our breakfast, I put Stella in the car and we drove over to the pet store. I asked her to give me her picture making money and then to pick out a little dog! She was so excited! She found this little fuzzy thing and immediately named her Gally! She said it was because she was in Galveston!

Now let me tell you, Dear Ones! Please supervise your Aida cloth paper dolls and your children. It's our responsibility to take care of them and give them guidance. I've learned a lesson and I'm going to be a better hostess to Stella and from now on she's going to be the best Aida cloth paper doll in Blogland!

Whew! Glad this turned out okay!
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

But some day it's gonna be me, me and only me.

Oh oh oh oh wild one I'll make you settle down (settle down)
