No Bunnies Yet But We Got Cow Creamers

Hello, Dear Ones! Thank you all for your kind and sweet remarks about the passing of our blog friend Jan who blogged at Just Jan. Her blog is still up and if you haven't I hope you'll go and see what a sweet talented blogger she was.

Okie dokie! I hope you don't get tired of seeing my little breakfast room hutch. She is truly one of my favorite toys to play with. I love to change her up with the seasons. Spring is almost here so she's got her spring dress on for you to see!

As my title says - no bunnies yet! I guess her spring dress won't stay on too long.

I wanted to share with you what I got recently on our trip to California (that'll be a post for another day). Isn't this the sweetest little welcome sign? Of course it was meant for me with that darling Rooster painted on the front. I found this at Split Pea Anderson's near Solvang, California.
 The contents...
I'm not a minimalist and never claimed to be so most of the time when you come to see me you're going to see lots of snaps. Lots and lots and lots! :) Look up on the top and you'll see my trio of Roosters who are always somewhere in the kitchen and I poked up my little Arthur Court bunny tray behind them. I guess I was subconsciously thinking "Easter Bunnies".

I love these Pioneer Woman dishes and the bright colors. I found these a couple of years ago and mixed in a few other plates and platters. See those cute little cow creamers? Oh how they make me smile.
Moo moo...moo moo...
Here's another shot of these little white creamers. They are just so cute!! See my red cabbage plate hiding back there and balancing the shelf?
Moo moo...tweet! Moo moo...tweet! More colorful cow creamers and one little pie bird sitting up so high. There is a yellow vintage platter in the back to add her cuteness.
Here's the bottom shelf. I just love doilies and lace runners so I have one here so the cow creamers have a nice place to sit or stand. The two Pioneer Woman pitchers are filled with Pioneer Woman tea towels! I'm so talented like that you know to poke towels into pitchers!

I truly hope you've enjoyed seeing my little breakfast room hutch today. My kitchen is filled with joy, my heart is filled with joy and I pray you are filled with joy too.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

"Joy To The World"

Jeremiah was a bull frog
Was a good friend of mine
I never understood a single word he said
But I helped him drink his wine
And he always had some mighty fine wine

Singin'
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls, now
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

If I were the king of the world
Tell you what I'd do
I'd throw away the cars and the bars and the wars
Make sweet love to you

Singin' now
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

You know I love the ladies
Love to have my fun
I'm a high night flier and a rainbow rider
A straight-shootin' son of a gun
I said a straight shootin' son of a gun

Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the world
Joy to you and me

Joy to the world
All the boys and girls, now
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

  1. Oh Shelia, I always love seeing your cute hutch. We are almost related because our two beautiful hutches are cousins. I love your spring display on the hutch. It is still winter here in northern Utah, but I will soon be changing my hutch with a new display for spring. I have always loved your style of decorating your home. You do a beautiful job. Hugs to you my friend.

  3. Oh your hutch is so pretty. It just screams "Spring" at me. I have one cow creamer. It's a Hummel that my parents gave to me when I was 3 years old. It's still in perfect condition.

  5. This is so darned cheerful and happy I can't stand it! I love it! Those Pioneer dishes are so cute there. I saw them at the store and they didn't work for me but seeing them here, I might have to rethink that! And I love your hutch. It's just making me smile.
