Christmasing in the Living Room

Hello, Dear Ones! I want to show you my living room all Christmased up. Now fair warning...LONG POST! So go and pour yourself a diet Cherry Dr. Pepper and we'll be all set. Let's go!

This is our first Christmas to be in our new to us home back in the great state of Texas! We got rid of so much when we moved from New York and that included Christmas decorations and all of my trees!! Wah!! So off I went to buy new Christmas trees. Above is the view of the living room as you walk in.
 Another view...
 ...and another view!
Gaze your most gorgeous peepers on these trees! They are not the same. You really can't tell in the picture on the left hand side but that tree was as crooked as the crooked little man!. The brand new tree was crooked as it was put up. Mr. Precious said it's fine. It was crooked when it got all decorated. Mr. Precious still said it was fine. I whined and whined, " I don't want no crooked tree!! No, no, Nannette! I don't want no crooked tree!" Guess who won?  I took every ornament off that crooked tree and poked it (very difficultly) back in the box and returned it. Got a new very straight tree! Whew! That was rough on me.
Okie Dokie! I turned on all of the lights for you. The tree is 9 feet tall. It doesn't look like it but the ceiling in the living room is 14 feet tall! I have a tall ladder and I was up and down that thing so much that I almost couldn't walk for two days. :)
I like this tree so much more as it seems to be fluffier and fuller.
I bought some picks and poked them all around the top of the tree for a topper. Now I don't have a theme for my tree, I just poked on every Christmas ball I have and have bought a few more and have been getting some for gifts! Do you see the ball on the bottom right? Buc-ee's! You know how I love Buc-ee's!! The last time we were in one I went back to look at the Christmas decorations and saw this ball and had to have it! It's so cute. So you'll see just a little bit of everything on my tree.
 On to the mantel.
Of course we got rid of all my garland so off I went to shop for garland. Nothing fancy but I twirled lights all around it and added some red berries for prettiness. I made two fluffy bows for each end.

Mr. Precious bought me the white reindeer at Costco in Massachusetts when we lived in New York. The closet Costco to us was in Massachusetts so every few months or so we made a day of it to visit our favorite place. Now we have one about 3 miles from us! Yea Costco! Look at my sweet pretty little frosting looking trees in the center. I broke the top point off the biggest tree! I cried and cried. Not really, but inside I cried. I've got to figure out how to kinda fix it!
 Now there's trouble!

To the side of the fireplace is my one and only area with shelves and it's a little Christmased up.

Hope you've enjoyed seeing my living room all Christmased up. It's been fun decorating this year as my new home is all new to me and because Mr. Precious tossed so many of my things - I went shopping! :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Oh, Christmas Tree

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
Not only green in summer’s heat,
But also winter’s snow and sleet.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
Of all the trees most lovely;
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
Of all the trees most lovely.
Each year you bring to us delight
With brightly shining Christmas light!
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
Of all the trees most lovely.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
We learn from all your beauty;
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
We learn from all your beauty.
Your bright green leaves with festive cheer,
Give hope and strength throughout the year.
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
We learn from all your beauty.

  14. Be sure to make the most of the successes of others when you embark on multilevel marketing. The people around you want to help you because your success means their success. Find out which of your team members are most successful and pick their brains for good ideas and techniques.

  15. Treating your multi-level marketing business as if it were a real job is essential if you want to succeed. If you think you will only work a few hours a week and get rich, you are likely to fail. In order to be successful, you need to dedicate a lot of time to it and work hard at it.
