What do you think? I've been painting and adding pretties to these two little pieces.
First of all, this little breakfast room hutch came from Hobby Lobby all unfinished and I went to town painting her up to match my little mini kitchen. Yellow for the most part and red knobs and feet. Oops! I see I got a tiny little bit of red paint on the bottom of the hutch trim on the left. Uh oh!
Again if you know me you know I love my Roosters, my yard birds, and I like them in my mini-ing too. I found these cute Rooster images online, printed them out and then modge podged them to the doors of the little hutch. Oh, the doors and drawers open. I can't pat myself on the back as I see I missed a few little spots of not adding the yellow paint. Well, these are small pieces. :)
This next piece cost a whole dollar from the dollar store. These pieces come kinda rough and not painted and I can't help but keep finding ways to use these little $ things. So I painted it white with yellow trim and added red knobs and feet. Again I found a cute Rooster image and modge podged it to the drawers. I cut the image into three pieces so I could add them to each drawer. These little drawers do not open but I don't care and I really like how it all turned out.
I wanted to show you how these look in my little house (shelves). Don't they look sweet?
I ordered the little shelf that's hanging on the wall and it seems just a tad large but I don't care.
And here is my little hutch all cute and stuff in the mini house, shelves. Now what can I do to that little high chair? :)
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Oh Shelia! You have made some amazing things for your mini house. As for the little highchair, make a tiny seat cushion for it and then add some little design to pick up the fabric print. Just an idea. You are doings such precious pieces.

ReplyDeleteThese are darling! I love what you've done to the little hutch and cabinet. Your mini-breakfast room is adorable. What you can do to the high chair is to paint or mod podge something sweet (like baby chicks) on the back. Just a thought!
