This little drop leaf table sits in the den under my old Regulator clock that belonged to my great grandfather and dates from the late 1800s. I thought this would be the perfect spot for my stitching tree.!
Most of you probably know Priscilla who blogs at Priscillas, She is a stitching wizard and does cross stitch all through the year and her Christmasing is amazing! Go pay her a visit an tell her I sent you. Anyway, I've admired her needlework for a long time and thought - I need to pull out my needle and floss and make some Christmas ornies! So I did. Thank you for the inspiration, Priscilla!
Here we go...now I just made up my own way of backing my pieces to hang on the tree. They are certainly not perfect and all but they are cute! I found this pattern on Pinterest! She's my little Christmas angel.
Can't have a Christmas tree with out Jesus on it.
I did buy a book of Christmas patterns for the rest so I'll just shut up and let you look.
Hope you've enjoyed seeing my Christmas stitching tree. Since I've picked up my embroidery needle again, that's all I want to do anymore. I know I'm a little bit crazy but man, I have fun.

Be a bunch of sweeties,

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Oh Christmas Tree
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
Thy leaves are so unchanging
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
Thy leaves are so unchanging
Not only green when summer's here,
But also when it's cold and drear.
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
Thy leaves are so unchanging!
But also when it's cold and drear.
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
Thy leaves are so unchanging!
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
Such pleasure do you bring me!
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
Such pleasure do you bring me!
Such pleasure do you bring me!
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
Such pleasure do you bring me!
For every year this Christmas tree,
Brings to us such joy and glee.
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
Such pleasure do you bring me!
Brings to us such joy and glee.
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
Such pleasure do you bring me!
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
You'll ever be unchanging!
A symbol of goodwill and love
You'll ever be unchanging
You'll ever be unchanging!
A symbol of goodwill and love
You'll ever be unchanging
Each shining light
Each silver bell
No one alive spreads cheer so well
Each silver bell
No one alive spreads cheer so well
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
You'll ever be unchanging
You'll ever be unchanging
