Reading

Hello, Dear Ones! Life has been pretty busy around Note Songs Cottage so if I haven't visited you, forgive me, I'll try to make it up.
So...I'll show you some more of my little miniature making - a little chair. I went to my local library and checked out some books on making miniatures and one had a few patterns for furniture and I kinda liked how this one chair looked so I made one. I don't remember the name of the book, it really wasn't very good.
It is made with card stock, batting and foam board. I didn't really like it that much until I found this...
Tiny trim! I was walking down the aisle of the dollar store, really looking to see if they had any more little furniture, and saw these little bags of string with three spools in different colors! Yay me! After I glued the 'trim' down my little chair looked so much sweeter! Now I like it. I also made a tiny little pillow for the back of the chair.
 Nice and curvy!
Isn't the 'trim' cute? I seem to always add these little wooden feet to my furniture.
Then I went on a kick of making tiny little books. There are lots of these to print out on Pinterest. I kinda made up my own way to make the pages. I don't always follow the rules you know. I guess I'm a mini rebel! :) Anyway, I made some of the classic books that I just love.
So now we can rest in the new easy chair and grab a good book to read!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

The Book Of Love

I wonder, wonder who, who-oo-ooh, who
(Who wrote the Book Of Love)

Tell me, tell me, tell me
Oh, who wrote the Book Of Love
I've got to know the answer
Was it someone from above

(Oh, I wonder, wonder who, mmbadoo-ooh, who)
(Who wrote the Book Of Love)

I love you darlin'
Baby, you know I do
But I've got to see this Book of Love
Find out why it's true

(Oh, I wonder, wonder who, mmbadoo-ooh, who)
(Who wrote the Book Of Love)

(Chapter One says to love her)
(You love her with all your heart)
(Chapter Two you tell her you're)
(Never, never, never, never, never gonna part)
(In Chapter Three remember the meaning of romance)
(In Chapter Four you break up
(But you give her just one more chance))

(Oh, I wonder, wonder who, mmbadoo-ooh, wWho)
(Who wrote the Book Of Love)

Baby, baby, baby
I love you, yes I do
Well it says so in this Book Of Love
Ours is the one that's true

(Oh, I wonder, wonder who, mmbadoo-ooh, who)
(Who wrote the Book Of Love)

(Chapter One says to love her)
(You love her with all your heart)
(Chapter Two you tell her you're)
(Never, never, never, never, never gonna part)
(In Chapter Three remember the meaning of romance)
(In Chapter Four you break up
(But you give her just one more chance)

(Oh, I wonder, wonder who, mmbadoo-ooh, Who)
(Who wrote the Book Of Love)

Baby, baby, baby
I love you, yes I do
Well it says so in this Book Of Love
Ours is the one that's true

(Oh, I wonder, wonder who, mmbadoo-ooh, who)
(Who wrote the Book Of Love)
I wonder who (yeah)

  3. That sweet little chair is adorable but I'm really charmed by the teeny books! You're so clever -- it can be difficult to work in such miniature and you have my compliments!

  5. Shelia,
You, dear friend, are one of the most talented bloggers I know!
I love your new Reading Chair!

I agree, the trim is adorable!
I'm sure your idea for the pages within the miniature books was much better than the one whose directions were given!
    Happy reading!
