Falling On The Finn

Hello, Dear Ones! Well, since I showed you my coffee table in my last post I thought we would just turn around and gaze at The Finn! Yes, I do name some of my furniture! ;)
When we bought this house a couple of years ago I started to collect more blue things. This house likes blue. You can see the blue and white plates on the wall for starters.
So I've used some blue and white pieces to sit on The Finn along with pumpkins. Those little candlestick lamps are so very old ~ maybe around 30 years old! I can hardly believe it. I bought them years ago at Montgomery Ward which isn't even around any more. One day I'll get a new lamp to sit on The Finn. Okie dokie!
You can see the olden mirror in The Finn and the mirroring is fading away. I say that because I didn't want you to think I was nasty! :)
Thanks for popping in to see me today and I hope you're beginning to feel a little fall coolness where you live!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

September Song

For it's a long, long while from May to December
But the days grow short when you reach September
And the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame
And I haven't got time for the waiting game
And the days dwindle down to a precious few
September, November
And these few precious days I'll spend with you
These precious days I'll spend with you
And the days dwindle down to a precious few
September, November
And these few precious days I'll spend with you
These precious days I'll spend with you
~ sung by Frank Sinatra

  21. Oh sweetie, don't get rid of those lamps, they are just darn right cute! I remember buying from the Montgomery Ward catalog. Those were the days before shopping the internet. Remember the Sears 'Wish list" Christmas catalog? As kids, we would look at it for hours. :) I love the blue mixed in with the fall colors. Finn is a dandy! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
