Jadeite

Hello, Dear Ones! I almost forgot to thank you all for your comments on my last post about Instagram. I hope it helped some of you who have had questions like me! Okie dokie...

If you follow me you will know how much I love Jadeite!
Here's one of my Jadeite Roosters and Hens on her nest. I saw on Susan's blog at Ash Tree Cottage a little Rooster and Hen just like mine but they were in miniature! Oh, Lord, have mercy! I almost fainted! I wanted those. I coveted those! I did ask for forgiveness. So what was I to do? Got online and went to town searching for miniature Jadeite! Guess what?
I found them! I ordered them and they are just so cute and tiny and by the looks of this snap...fuzzy!
I'm really good at snapping fuzzy for you! Well, I was excited. :)
Then my most gorgeous baby blues spied this little set ~ Jadeite candlesticks and a cake stand! Can you stand the cuteness?? I can hardly stand it and I see Tang can't either. She is staring at that cake stand waiting for it to hold a cake that is baking in the little oven! Little stinker!
Just a little more cuteness for my tiny little kitchen. I'm having a ball, can you tell? :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Gimme Dat Ding

That's right, That's right
I'm sad and blue
'Cause I can't do the Boogaloo
I'm lost, I'm lost
Can't do my thing
That's why I sing

Gimme, Gimme Dat Ding Ah...
Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme Dat
Gimme Dat Ding, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat Ding
Gimme Dat, Gimme, Gimme Dat,
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Dat Ding (Oh Sing it one more time Momma)
Oh,Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme Dat
Gimme Dat Ding, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat Ding
Gimme Dat, Gimme, Gimme Dat,
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Dat Ding (Ah, you ain't doin' that late at night)
Ah, what good's a metronome
Without a bell for ringing
Not once, can't anybody ever tell he's swinging
How can you tell the rythmn written on the bar
How can you ever hope to know where you are?
~ sung by The Pipkins

  2. Shelia, I love the kitchen. It's adorable. I am still smiling about all that cute jadeite. Plus I just saw the baking dishes on top of the cabinets. So sweet. My mother and father had a jadeite meat platter , I passed it along to my granddaughter...I know my parents would love her owning it now. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
