Smokin' Hot!

Hello, Dear Ones! Today we're still in the kitchen and I'm going to show you my little stove.
Cute and pink and not quite finished. It's okay, I can still cook on it. I still need to put a little clock on the back piece and maybe a logo.
Here's another peep at the little boxes I've used for the sink and now the stove with it's lid that I've used. Still don't know what to do with the lids yet.

This was a lot easier than the sink. I painted the box pink and added a little white door and silver handle. The knobs for the burners are beads and the oven knob is a button that I cut the back off of.  The little burners are just little round pieces of wood painted black and I swirled my silver marker to make the heat elements. I used a little piece of foam board for the back piece that needs a clock and such on it.
Here you can see how the box is sitting on its side and how I just glued on the foam board.
Okay, we're really smokin' hot now. In place and ready to go!! I'm getting ready to scramble us some eggs! My little pink appliances are done!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

The Heat Is On

The heat is on, on the street
Inside your head, on every beat
And the beat's so loud, deep inside
The pressure's high, just to stay alive
'Cause the heat is on

Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
Caught up in the action I've been looking out for you
Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
The heat is on, the heat is on, the heat is on
Oh it's on the street, the heat is on

Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
Caught up in the action I've been looking out for you
Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
The heat is on (yeah) the heat is on, the heat is on
(Burning, burning, burning)
It's on the street, the heat is on

The shadows high on the darker side
Behind the doors, it's a wilder ride
You can make a break, you can win or lose
That's a chance you take, when the heat's on you
When the heat is on

Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
Caught up in the action I've been looking out for you
Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
The heat is on (yeah) the heat is on, the heat is on
It's on the street, the heat is on (i can feel the fire)

The heat is on (flames are burning higher)
The heat is on (baby can't you feel it)
Yeah, it's on the street
The heat is on (i can feel it the fire)
The heat is on (flames are burning higher)

  10. Love your doll house & the creativity you are using to make your own pieces. Could the box tops be a sandbox for baby or a trundle bed? I'm a kid at heart - have my dolls from 50s & early 60s plus collect other dolls, baby planters (like they don't make anymore), vintage children's books, and other things. It doesn't hurt to be a kid sometimes!

  12. This is the sweetest stove, Shelia! You are so creative! I wonder if you could make a plate rack with the lid, or would it work as a table top?
