Getting Serious

Hello, Dear Ones. Well today I am letting you see that I am serious about miniatures. I've made some furniture to show you.

Little chair!! Do you like it? Oh, there are so many tutorials on Pinterest and I've just been going crazy looking at so many things that you can make. I found this wonderful website called 1 Inch Minis by Kris.  Click on over and check it out! My little chair really doesn't sit crooked, just my wonky photo skills! :)
Kris is good at making almost anything you would want to make in miniature. And...she is so kind that she has these great tutorials up where she literally walks you through step by step on how to make things for your dollhouse. I jumped on the band wagon and followed her tute on this little arm chair. It's not perfect but...still cute.
Tang seems to love this little chair. I also spiffed up the back. You know how talented I am and all! :) You know I'm teasing.
After I made the chair I felt so accomplished that I tackled making a little sofa with my own pattern for the back! Cute? Oh, it's sweet. I guess it's really more love seat size but it's perfect for my tiny little living room.
Gotta have pillows so I really cheated here and did not sew at all but just glued the pillows together with stuffing in the middle.
Here you can see my new furniture sitting in the little living room. Yes, that little Tang is making herself totally at home here. My little hobby is coming along! But alas! I have to keep the grand babies out of it all! :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

I'm A Believer

I thought love was only true in fairytales
Meant for someone else but not for me
Love was out to get me
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all my dreams
Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind
I'm in love, I'm a believer
I couldn't leave her if I tried
I thought love was more or less a givin' thing
But the more I gave the less I got
What's the use in trying?
All you get is pain
When I needed sunshine I got rain
Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind
I'm in love, I'm a believer
I couldn't leave her if I tried
Love was out to get me
Now that's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all my dreams
Oh then I saw her face, now I'm a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind
I'm in love, I'm a believer
I couldn't leave her if I tried
Yes I saw her face, now I'm a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind
Said I'm a believer, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
(I'm a believer)
Said I'm a believer, yeah
(I'm a believer)
Said I'm a believer, yeah
(I'm a believer)

  21. Oh, my gosh! I found you tonight and I've set here till 2am looking at your genius work! Believe me, you have creative powers! I tried making little furniture years ago and ended up buying the kits. Cost me a bundle! If you have an Etsy store you can make some moolah on the over-stuffed furniture.
