Ribbed Patterned Milk Glass

Hello, Dear Ones! One last post about my Milk Glass today. Do any of you have some or collect it? I'd love to see yours.
I think these pieces are the Ribbed or Scalloped Milk Glass. I'm really not too picky but I should know my patterns!
This is a lovely shaped bowl, don't you think? Again, anything you would poke in it would look charming! I love charming, don't you?
This is a good sized vase about 12 or so inches tall. I can see using it during the spring with some lovely blooms inside. I do have another vase that's the same height but a little skinnier.
Just sweet and simple. Is this a compote? Doesn't matter because I love her too.

Hope you've not gotten bored looking at my Milk Glass. I've got to be inventive as to what I can post about next. In the mean time I'm loving seeing what you're all up to.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

I Think I Love You

I'm sleeping and right in the middle of a good dream
Like all at once I wake up from something that keeps
Knocking at my brain
Before I go insane I hold my pillow to my head
And spring up in my bed screaming out the words I dread
I think I love you
(I think I love you)
This morning, I woke up with this feeling
I didn't know how to deal with and so I just decided to myself
I'd hide it to myself and never talk about it
And didn't I go and shout it when you walked into my room
I think I love you
(I think I love you)
I think I love you so what am I so afraid of?
I'm afraid that I'm not sure of a love there is no cure for
I think I love you isn't that what life is made of?
Though it worries me to say that I've never felt this way
I don't know what I'm up against
I don't know what it's all about
I got so much to think about, hey
I think I love you so what am I so afraid of?
I'm afraid that I'm not sure of a love there is no cure for
I think I love you isn't that what life is made of?
Though it worries me to say I've never felt this way
Believe me you really don't have to worry
I only want to make you happy
And if you say, Hey, go away, I will
But I think better still I better stay around and love you
Do you think I have a case? Let me ask you to your face
Do you think you love me? I think I love you
I think I love you
(I think I love you)
I think I love you
(I think I love you)
I think I love you
(I think I love you)
I think I love you
(I think I love you)

  1. I have enjoyed your milk glass posts. I use to have a large collection but downsized it when I moved a couple of years ago. I still have some pieces I love and will try to do a post on them one of these days.

  2. I love your collection. I feel like everyone has seen mine, but maybe I'll repost some of my favorites. I like to be able to move them all over my home. White is a perfect accessory to the home wardrobe. BTW, I grew up on the Partridge Family and I love this song! I will sing it now all day long.

  7. I love milk glass too and have a nice collection. I do not have any of the bubble pattern, and don't know if I ever saw it before yours? But I will be on the lookout for it. I've been using some of my pieces in my Winter decor... your pieces are lovely.

  16. I can't see milk glass anymore without thinking of you, dear friend. And that's a good thing. I have a few pieces of milk glass. I have a darling candle holder and a few different sizes of vases. I'll have to gather them and do a blog post one of these days. Have you seen the latest issue of Country Living Magazine? It has an article that features milk glass. If you haven't seen it I have a copy for you and will mail it early next week with the goodies I planned to send you before your accident. My magazine was very late arriving this month and I thought maybe I had accidentally stopped my subscription - so I bought the current issue on the newsstand. And - would you believe - my magazine arrive in the mail later that very same day! I'll share with you if you don't have it.
