Here We Go A Manteling...

Hello, Dear Ones! Well, today I'm going to show you my mantel in the den. I seem to go on 'kicks' and right now my 'kick' seems to be Milk Glass. So what in the world would I put on my Christmas Mantel? You guessed it!
Ta dah! Milky, Milky Milk Glass! Don't you just love it?
I just kept poking up the Milk Glass until I thought it was just right.

I've shared this before but I'm just loving hanging different plates on the wall above my mantel for the different seasons. I've poked up these little Christmasy plates. I probably should have found some a little more colorful but I'm not getting up on my ladder again! :) I'm short, ya know.
Love these long side views. I found some little cordless lights that I poked up on the mantel to add a little twinkle in the evenings.
Okie dokie. Let's break it down. Milk Glass and Santies.
More Milk Glass, Santies and uh oh...there is Elvira my little Elf on the Shelf.
I know what Elvira is thinking. She wants to toss out some Christmas balls and pop her little self into my pretty Milk Glass bowl. No, no Nannette! She will not!
Moving right along, more Milk Glass and Santies. Oh, and Christmas balls. You can be very festive using Christmas balls. I love easy and peasy.
Just a little more Milk Glass and Santies.
I love hanging wreaths on my plain ole mirror and I love this one. I made the wreath with the plastic balls many years before I started blogging, at least 8 or 9 years ago. Then I took another wreath and lightly sprayed it white and wired the Christmas balls wreath to the front of it. I like the way it looks.
Lastly I poked up a tinsel garland and I was done. I'm not a minimalist and more is always more for me!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Here We Come A Caroling
Here we come a-caroling, Among the leaves so green! Here we come a-wandering, So fair to be seen! Love and joy come to you, And a merry Christmas too, So we send you and wish you, A Happy New Year, And we sing you a Happy New Year! We are not daily beggars, That beg from door to door! But we are neighbors' children, Whom you have seen before! Love and joy come to you, And a merry Christmas too, So we send you and wish you, A Happy New Year, And we sing a Happy New Year! The master and mistress As you sit by the fire Think of us poor children Who wander in the mire Love and joy come to you, And a merry Christmas too, So we send you and wish you, A Happy New Year, And we sing a Happy New Year! So bless the master of this house Likewise the mistress too And all the little children That round the table go Love and joy come to you, And a merry Christmas too, So we send you and wish you, A Happy New Year, And we sing a Happy New Year!
