Morning

Hello, Dear Ones! I was sitting in my chair this morning and peeked out to the sunroom and just loved how the sunshine was kissing the room and I wanted to share it with you.
Little dibbles and dabbles here and there. Smiling on my table.
The room was splattered with sunshine. No, I haven't found chairs for the table yet. These chairs are so not me but were left by the previous owners. So we use them until I find what I want.
Look how the shadows play on the tilted windows.
And my favorite Rooster lamp is enjoying the sun too! I just wanted to pop in to say good morning and hope you are all doing well.

Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

It's A Beautiful Morning

 It's a beautiful mornin', ahhh
I think I'll go outside a while
And jus' smile
Just take in some clean fresh air, boy
Ain't no sense in stayin' inside
If the weather's fine an' you got the time
It's your chance to wake up and plan another brand new day
Either way
It's a beautiful mornin', ahhh
Each bird keeps singin' his own song
So long
I've got to be on my way, now
Ain't no fun just hangin' around
I've got to cover ground, you couldn't keep me down
It just ain't no good if the sun shines
When you're still inside
Shouldn't hide, still inside, shouldn't hide
Ahhhh oh! (shouldn't hide) ah ah oh
(Do do waaa, do do waaa)
There will be children with robins and flowers
Sunshine caresses each new waking hour
Seems to me that the people keep seeing
More and more each day, gotta say, lead the way
It's okay, wednesday, thursday, it's okay
(Ahhh) monday, wednesday, friday, weekday, ah ah ohhh
(Do do waaa)
Ah ah oh oh (do do aaaa)
Wooooo oo oo oh oh oh ah wo do waa
Ohhhhhhh .oh oh oh
~ sung by the Rascals

  4. Hi Sheila, your sunroom is so inviting the way the sunshine floods everything with light...so pretty! I couldn't believe it when I saw your rooster lamp as I have the exact same one with the same red shade! I'm curious though if you remember what store originally sold it (I purchased mine at a consignment shop). And YES, it is one of my favorite lamps as well! I love French Country rooms and ROOSTERS!

  5. Love the rooster lamp, I have a owl lamp. Is the room insulated for winter? Thinking of all the windows. Must be beautiful during the seasons to look out and see nature doing her thing. And love that song, singing it off key, but singing anyways. Hope your day was just as wonderful like your morning was, Kathleen in Az

  10. Good morning Shelia! Makes me think of the hymn "Heavenly Sunshine" ! My mom had a dinette set with chairs like that made by Chromecraft. They specialize in dinette sets. One of these days some chairs will grab your attention. Have a great Sunday!
