These two are having a great time together and I found them playing this morning and took some snaps. Marion has been pulling Babbette around in the little red wagon.
They both look like they've been having a great time.
Marion is trying to teach Babbette to walk. Be. Care. Ful! Well, you're here to see Babbette's outfit, aren't you? I've crocheted her a little multi colored romper.
Look at all of the fun colors in the yarn. There's a little pale yellow ruffle on the sleeves and the same yellow trim at the pants edge.
Marion is so enjoying taking care of little Babbette and I do believe Babbette is enjoying all of the attention too!
Shhh...seems like little Babbette is all tuckered out now. All that playing has made her very tired so we'll just let her sleep for now.
Thanks always for popping in to see the dolls and come back next week! Pop on over to Diane's blog Welcome to Lavender Dreams for all of her dollying! And...my two new friends, Joann at Scene Through My Eyes and Sandra at Sandra's Sewing Room. These ladies are very talented doll dress makers and I really do believe you'll enjoy seeing their creations.
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
I'm Only Sleeping
When I wake up early in the morning
Lift my head, I'm still yawning
When I'm in the middle of a dream
Stay in bed, float up stream (Float up stream)
Please, don't wake me, no, don't shake me
Leave me where I am, I'm only sleeping
Everybody seems to think I'm lazy
I don't mind, I think they're crazy
Running everywhere at such a speed
Till they find there's no need (There's no need)
Please, don't spoil my day, I'm miles away
And after all I'm only sleeping
Keeping an eye on the world going by my window
Taking my time
Lying there and staring at the ceiling
Waiting for a sleepy feeling...
Please, don't spoil my day, I'm miles away
And after all I'm only sleeping
Ooh yeah
Keeping an eye on the world going by my window
Taking my time
When I wake up early in the morning
Lift my head, I'm still yawning
When I'm in the middle of a dream
Stay in bed, float up stream (Float up stream) Please, don't wake me, no, don't shake me
Leave me where I am, I'm only sleeping

ReplyDeleteShelia, I see you are hooked. I got hooked when our oldest grand daughter(now expecting our 2nd great grand child) got her first American Girl doll. Together we made clothes and I am still making them, now, with a 12 year old friend. I have been teaching her to sew. I now have a collection of 18 inch dolls. There is a new AG doll coming out that is from the 1950's. Her name is Maryellen. I am going to have to buy her.She is from my time as a child.
ReplyDeleteHave fun those grands grow up so fast. judy j
