GE Plots Historic Home Tour - The 1905 William Ely House

Hello, Dear Ones. Hope you're enjoying these home tours. I was so thrilled to get to view them and take inside snaps for you so here's another one...
This is the second of three houses that William Ely built here in the GE Realty Plots. It's a little bit Queen Anne Victorian and a little bit Tudor Revival and it's a good mix, don't you think?
Mr. Precious loves these home tours as much as I do.
 Such a pretty secretary arrangement.
Now this lovely dining room is where I've messed up! I don't think it belongs to this house, maybe it does? :) Anyway, it's pretty and I wanted you to see it.
 Very nice updated kitchen.
The home owner seems to love blue and white! ;)
Lovely little deck overlooking the beautiful pool.
I thought this was such a pretty house. These lots are filled with trees and lush plantings! :) I think I could live here, don't you? There was also a spaniel who lived here and gave me some kisses. I'll never pass up a doggie kiss! :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Sing Me Back Home

The warden led a prisoner down the hallway to his doom
I stood up to say good-bye like all the rest
And I heard him tell the warden just before he reached my cell
'Let my guitar playing friend do my request.' (Let him...)

Sing me back home with a song I used to hear
Make my old memories come alive
Take me away and turn back the years
Sing Me Back Home before I die

I recall last Sunday morning a choir from 'cross the street
Came to sing a few old gospel songs
And I heard him tell the singers 'There's a song my mama sang.
Can I hear once before we move along?'

Sing me back home, the song my mama sang
Make my old memories come alive
Take me away and turn back the years
Sing Me Back Home before I die

Sing Me Back Home before I die
~ sung by The Grateful Dead

  1. Another lovely house. Love the living room, and noticed they have two fireplaces - wouldn't that be nice! The kitchen is my favorite room, along with the dining room. Imagine having those windows to let in so much light. Thanks for sharing, I love your house tours.

  10. Wow what a nice home. I like the exterior- it is an interesting mix of style tastefully done! It seems odd that there is two dining rooms but I noticed the ceiling has the same crown moldings as thenother rooms so I think it is the same house.
