Hello, Dear Ones and I want to wish you all a blessed Easter! I thought I would give you a little Springy home tour today so come on in.
On my front door I poked up a little metal container filled with faux blooms to delight my neighbors eyes! :)The living room is all springed up. As you can see I have the Easter presents for my little grandchildren waiting for them on the sofa.
You may remember this vase of flowers and my little shy bunnies were on the dining room table but I moved them in here so I could set the table for our guests.
A little Easter vignette on my table in the window.
This little arrangement is on the top of my piano.
My Easter/Spring mantel in the den.
Come on into my kitchen and I'll get you some tea.
I was really having fun so I poked everything I could find down on my table. Lots of candy...help yourself.
I just had to try the bunny ears fold for my napkins! I love this, don't you?
You may have seen my buffet earlier and now I've taken away all of my transferware and just added a couple of little cuties so I would have a place to put our food.
This is the last vignette to show you here in the sunroom. The sun has been shining in here and warming it up nicely. Our snow is finally beginning to melt! Hallelujah!I haven't shown you much of this room yet as I'm still not finished with it. The table and chairs were left by the previous owner and I thought I'd poke them out here. We have eaten out here and it's quite nice looking out at the
Here's the other side of the sunroom. I guess you've noticed how the windows curve so it's almost impossible to put up window treatments of any kind. I guess I really don't need them I'm just greatful to have a place for my wicker furniture. When I spiff it up some more I'll show it to you again.
Okie dokie. I'm going to have to take a break for a couple of weeks as we have family from Maryland who have come in today and will be with us through Easter. I'm having all of the family over for Easter lunch after church. I'm so happy! The very day our family leaves, we have friends coming to visit us for a while. So, needless to say I'm gonna be busy.
Just know I love your comments and will read each and every one of them but won't be able to respond to you until I get back! Happy Easter and God bless you all!
You're all a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Easter Song
Hear the bells ringing
They're singing that you can be born again
Hear the bells ringing
They're singing Christ is risen from the dead
The angel up on the tombstone
Said He has risen, just as He said
Quickly now, go tell his disciples
That Jesus Christ is no longer dead
Joy to the word, He has risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah
Hear the bells ringing
They're singing that you can be healed right now
Hear the bells ringing, they're singing
Christ, He will reveal it now
Joy to the world, He has risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah, hallelujah
The angel up on the tombstone
Said He has risen, just as He said
Quickly now, go tell his disciples
That Jesus Christ is no longer dead
Joy to the world, He has risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah
Hallelujah
They're singing that you can be born again
Hear the bells ringing
They're singing Christ is risen from the dead
The angel up on the tombstone
Said He has risen, just as He said
Quickly now, go tell his disciples
That Jesus Christ is no longer dead
Joy to the word, He has risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah
Hear the bells ringing
They're singing that you can be healed right now
Hear the bells ringing, they're singing
Christ, He will reveal it now
Joy to the world, He has risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah, hallelujah
The angel up on the tombstone
Said He has risen, just as He said
Quickly now, go tell his disciples
That Jesus Christ is no longer dead
Joy to the world, He has risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah
Hallelujah

Your home is full of Easter and spring Shelia. I like your dining table all set for lunch with chocolate goodies sprinkled around. :) Your sunroom is lovely and I'm glad you had a spot for your wicker furniture. I'd paint the dining chairs white too! Have a blessed Easter. Hugs. Pam
ReplyDeleteOh i love those white bunnies in the first few pictures!! Your table looks great and wow!!! Those napkins! They look complicated!
ReplyDeleteFrom the beautiful vase on your door to the vignettes to the bunny napkins to your sunroom, I am captivated and charmed. Your bunnies are so festive and cute. I love how your bay windows has a place for vignettes, and I really love your sun room. Your desk was a find--so classic. I know you'll enjoy the view of trees--and no snow for a long while, I hope. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteYour door is very inviting...to your lovely home, Sheila. I love the curtains in your breakfast room...beautiful fabric. What a nice bonus to have a sunroom.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter.
How perfectly delightful, Shelia! Well done, so Easter-y and whimsical! Your grands are going to love Gma's house all decorated for Easter! Blessings to you all!
ReplyDeleteSheila, your new home is just as gorgeous (if not more) as your other one...you have out-done yourself! I really like your sunroom,,,the curved windows really make it a very unique space...it doesn't need window treatments. I'm sure anything you do to it will be lovely. Have a blessed Easter celebrating the Risen Lord with your family!
ReplyDeleteHow I enjoyed the Easter tour through your home. Each spot is decorated with such love and care. Thank you for sharing it with us. Virtual hospitality!

Beautiful Sheila!!! It's the first time I've seen your sunroom and it is so inviting! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteIt's all so perfect, Shelia. I love Easter decor and your kitchen window display is adorable. Have a wonderful time with all your company. "Happy Easter." Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteEverything is looking so springy Shelia!! I hadn't seen your kitchen lately, and it looks wonderful! I love the fabric you have on the windows. What a gorgeous table setting too...I'm sure everyone will love it!
ReplyDeleteAs for the table and chairs, I had one of those sets when I married the first time. The table was rectangular, though, and the first thing I did was paint it ivory. It really made a difference and I didn't mind it after that. Love your tablecloth too:-) Happy Easter!
Everything looks so lovely Shelia. You have really done a great job decorating your new home. Enjoy your company and family.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you and yours.
Mary
Beautiful! Hope your Easter is wonderful! Enjoyed your song choice!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful Spring home tour, Shelia! Yes, I think you should paint the table. I think it will go better with your white wicker furniture. You DID not pay $20.00 for that beautiful secretary - that is a fantastic find with a fantastic price! Love the legs and I can't wait to see that painted.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
Shelia, your house just looks amazing! I just love your kitchen and the perfectly beautiful curtains you made. Also happy to see that red and white toile is still with you out on the sunporch. :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Easter with the babies and time with your friends later on.
Wishing you a blessed Easter with your family and a great get together with your friends. You have your home beautifully dressed for the season.
ReplyDeleteDiana
Your home looks wonderful. The kids will love the Easter gifts and all your cute bunnies!
ReplyDeleteThat sun room is great! The table is nice- my mom had a set like that made by Chromecraft. Somehow I bet you'd be happier with a set you picked out to your liking because even if you painted it- it still has a modern vibe that isn't your style. I've sold a lot of stuff on Craigslist and have seen a lot of nice furniture on there to purchase. Might be an option.
Wishing you a wonderful Easter Sunday with your family!
Liz
Every photo is more enchanting than the last! Love that bunny-fold napkin! Such an array of bunnies and flowers and beauty you can't top. A perfect celebratory home! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteHave a Blessed Easter with your family and friends. Kathleen in Az
ReplyDeleteShelia, now, this is Bunnyville and spring decorating at its best. Love it!

Your home is so pretty, and every thing just oozes spring charm. Love your cutebunnies!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had your sun room, I'd paint table and chairs, but don' t be made I'd never paint that secretary in the corner. The set from the precious owner doesn't seen like you, it's more modern, and I see you with more vintage charm to it. Enjoy your time with family and friends. See you when you get back.
Love all the Spring and Easter items you've displayed. The bunny napkins are precious, and I'd love to have your sun room. Hope you had a wonderful day today. Peggy

Good morning Shelia, Your home is lovely all decked out for Easter. I know your guests will have a wonderful time with the sweet hostess that you and your hubby are. Your table is awesome with your bunny ear napkins and I loved the tour of your home. The $20. dollar desk is such a great find. The sun room already looks lovely and I would hate to see the table and chairs painted. I guess I am like your hubby and love wood. No curtains needed. I love the sun room.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you had such a nice Easter with your darling family. Enjoy your break.
Love, Jeanne
Shelia everything looks so beautiful!! I love your sunroom!
ReplyDeleteHi Shelia, I enjoyed your spring home tour. Love all your rabbits and flowers! You set a beautiful Easter table and did a great job with the rabbit ear napkin folds. I have some Butterfly Meadow dishes, too; they're so pretty to work with, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen looks great, Shelia; I would love to have a big window like that in my kitchen. It's such a nice, bright room. I love your sunroom, too. Your white ironstone looks nice on the baker's rack. I hope you had a wonderful Easter and have enjoyed all your visitors. I'm just catching up from a two-week break myself.
Hugs to you,
Denise at Forest Manor
Yay. Spring is here. Thanks for sharing such wonderful photographs.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so pretty, Shelia! Oh, I definetly think you should paint that little oak set!
ReplyDeleteYou have a very lovely home. I love coming here to see what you have done. I am not a bunny fan. But looking at your pictures could turn me into one.
ReplyDeleteHi Shelia, LOVE your spring home tour. Every precious inch is perfection. Your sun room is wonderful and your wicker looks so good in there. The little desk would be real pretty in white!! Try it on the back first and see what you think!! You really have decorated so pretty for the season and made your new home so special.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the inspiration.
Happy Friday!!
Hugs XO
